The beginning
It was early winter . Cood , chilly and freezy . Its was a crowded cross way . A women wearing a chain having a cross sign on it , carrying a basket having a baby . She kept it near the electric pole beside the cross way and sat there . She gently ran her fingers on her cheeks and took off the chain from her and gave it to the baby in the basket . The women smiled at her with tears in her eyes , took a deep breath and walked on the cross way when it was a red light and died at spot . The baby started to cry , her face was red in cold . And then ,snow flakes began to fall . A lady picked the basket up and left the place.
9 years later.....
Time changed. It was about 3pm Charlotte who was 9 years old came home from her school . Her mother Amelia welcomes her with a big hug .
" How was your day today " , Amilia asked Charlotte .
" Nothing much . To be honest it was boring " , Charlotte replied.
She walked to the dinning table and sat eating sandwich Amilia had made for her .
Amilia kissed Charlotte on her head " I'm going out take care " Amilia said while Chralotte watched her leaving and wave her hand with a small smile .
As soon as Amilia left Charlotte ran to the television to watch a show which her friend recommended saying
" Hey Charlotte ,you know yesterday after going home I watched a show it said about the people who go to hell because of their works, it was a bit scary but I'm really happy because I haven't done any of those and today they would tell which people would go to heaven . I know that it is kind of silly but I'm really scared of hell . So I think you should watch it too."
Charlotte turned on the TV but she didn't remember the channel number so she randomly clicked some channels and found it
" So, as I said before not every one how have done good to people would go to heaven some times you may not hurt other directly but indirectly. And for people like them is a different place , a place covered with snow . All you can see around is white snow. It is like a never ending death." the man in the television show said I serious manner.
Charlotte's heart beat fastened and her heart sank, she turned off the TV and walked up stairs with her bag and started doing her home work .
Completing her home work took her an hour after which she sat reading story books her mother bought as she wasn't allowed to leave home without the mothers permission .
It was already 10 when her mother came home . All tired and exhausted but made her daughter a dinner .
After dinner Charlotte walked up stairs back to her room to sleep . Every thing was ready and she was in her bed .
But as she closed her eyes she remembered of the words of the man in the television show .
She hadn't told her mother about she watching TV or watching the television show. Because she was scared the mother would scold her to watch such cringe shows being a kid.
To get sleep she counted sheeps , sang poems and even her favorite song but she couldn't sleep .
So at last she ended up telling all this things to her mother.
Her mother hugged her and asked her to sleep with her that night .
It was about 2 in the morning Charlotte felt like she needs to go to the washroom she walked slow so her mom would not woke up .
She walked down stairs to the toilet ,completed her work walked out and closed the door and walked upstairs like nothing happened.
Just before she was about to open the door of the mothers bedroom she remembered the man telling about a place fully covered with snow with no ending.
Her heart beat fastened just like before and she turned the door knob and pushed it she completely froze .
Cool wind blew all around and what all she could she was snow .
Her breathing became unstable but she walked in . As she kept one of her feet in she realised it was actually true .
She keep her second feet in and every thing went unbelievable. A few seconds before is was at her home and the really next she was at a place full of snow.
She walked for a couple of steps just to confirm if it was true but when she taught to go back , her legs would not move . She could not feel her legs anymore . The sense in her legs were totally gone .
But when turned back , the sight she saw was something unbelievable.
In the area fully covered with snow ,there was just a single door in that area from were she could see her home .
She gathered strength and some how walked near the door .
But before she could enter the door , her legs gave up . She fell on to her knees and then on the ground.
At the same time her mother Amilia woke up and found Charlotte to be no where . She walked out thinking Charlotte was in the washroom and walked down stairs .
Charlotte dragged herself till the door , came inside the home and closed the door .
Just then Amilia walked upstairs and saw Charlotte laying on the floor with her body trembling , feet red .
Her clothes were wet and cold as well as the floor on were she was laying.
Her mother ran to her took her in her arms and just could not believe it .
