Scene 1 Through the portal
Setting: A glowing mountain clearing in 1938.
Characters: Lee Rang, Yeo Hee, Taluipa
Rang stands before Taluipa, eyes firm yet pleading.
Rang: “I’ve made peace with myself. I want to live not in the past, but where my brother is.”
Taluipa gazes at him for a long moment.
Taluipa: “You’ve earned your chance, Rang. But remember, life among mortals is fleeting.”
She opens the shimmering portal. Yeo Hee clasps Rang’s hand.
Yeo Hee (softly): “Wherever you go, I follow.”
They step through the light vanishing into the modern world of 2023.
