Chapter 1
"Why the hell did you choose another school, are you afraid the guys at our school are gonna ambush you or something? "........Jessa shouted, standing in a kimbo at Hazel's room door....
She got no response, and that made her furious. She stepped into the room this time around, forcefully snatching Hazel's phone and threw it to the ground angrily.
"I'm talking to you bingo, I said why the hell did you tell dad to put you in another high school?" Jessa yelled out....
" I'm I supposed to tell you the reason why? Hazel asked calmly and covered her face with her douvet….
Don't know what your plan is but I will assure you, wherever you go, I will still be better than you. Get that" Jessa said and stumbled out of the room banging the door with full force.
Hazel took the duvet off her face immediately Jessa left, and exhaled hard, she went down from the bed, picked her phone and looked at the condition, it was very bad..
" There's no way I'm using this garbage again" she murmured to herself and threw the phone to the ground again, going into her closet to get another phone.
The phone is still in its pack, she unboxed it, boosted it to life and started using it. There was a slight knock on the door, without hearing any response, the door slightly opened and an eye popped from behind the slightly opened space.
"Can I come in?"
Still no response, but she did go in anyways. That was her nanny, Miss Ann.
" Oh my God, not again, the fourth phone being damaged this month and this is just the thirteenth day of the month" Miss Ann said with a tired looking expression on her face. " Hazel, what's the problem this time around? I heard jessa's voice and I just knew you guys had an argument" she asked calmly, looking towards Hazel's direction.
Hazel dropped her hand slowly, and dropped her phone on her reading table close to her, exhaled calmly and stood up, walking around with her hand tucked in her cargo pants pockets.
"You should know her by now, she's just looking for attention, just upset cause I changed high school"
" But why did you ask your dad to change your school, don't you like your former?"
" I do, still do, didn't get to finish my plan on some people that messed with me, especially this one girl that I was plotting her expulsion" miss Ann looked at her with a surprised look, and shaked her head....." I didn't get to do that and more, but I will, even tho I'm far away......
"I didn't ask you all that hazel" miss Ann cuts in, looking frustrated
"Okay fine, Jessa is annoying, everyone knows our parents just because of her, always painting herself as the queen of the school even tho she didn't win it this year tho," hazel chuckled slightly "all her friends sees me as her maid, she makes me carry her and her friends bags too, I act tough but she is the main reason why I get bullied in school, she doesn't even give me a chance to breath, I hate her and I'm for real, I want to start my life again, and be me without her bossing me around, and this time I'm gonna be tough"
Miss Ann breathed out gently, walked up to Hazel, held her by her shoulders and sat her down on the bed....
" My little baby, look how grown you are now, you are free to make your decisions, but don't forget that Jessa is your elder sister"
"Come on, Miss Ann," Hazel threw her hand from her shoulders and stood up...." Who's side are you on, mine or hers?
" I'm always on your side my little princess, but don't forget, if Jessa gets angry at you she will tell your dad about it and you will be the one to face the consequences"
" I know, just clear up the room, I want to have my space to myself"
Ann cleared the room and walked out.
"I'm doing things on my own from now on, no more anyone telling me what to do" hazel looked at the mirror while soliloquizing..
NEXT DAY ( BANKS MANSION)
7:43 am
" Miss hazel, it's time to go" Mr Marcus, the driver in his forties called out.
"Coming" hazel responded while running down the stairs.
"Easy girl, or u might trip" miss ann cautioned hazel.
"I will be good, Miss Ann, see ya " Hazel waved at Miss Ann while hurrying out.
"Stop right there hazel" Jessa's voice echoed in the living room. She too was coming down the stairs, with her well tailored and ironed uniform, her hair thoroughly brushed and designed in a pony tail, and her bag hanging on one shoulder at her back, she walked majestically down the stairs with an angry expression.
" If you take hazel to school, who the fuck is taking me?" Jessa yelled at Mr Marcus.
"Sorry miss" he apologized" but I wasn't gonna leave you behind "
" So how do you plan on taking the both of us to our different schools?"
" I know a shorter way that I would drive through to take us to her school on time, then I drop you off at yours afterwards"
" Bull crap, you hear me? Who's the eldest here? Why do I have to be the last you drop off at......."
" You know what, forget it, I will walk to school, or something" hazel cuts in
" But you won't get there on time" Mr Marcus said
" Don't worry MM, I would be fine, just take this blabber mouth before she bites off your skin with her canines"
" Who are you calling blabber mouth?" Jessa became more provoked but Hazel had already walked out of the house, before she could run after her she had already gone out of the gate. "I'm gonna deal with you when you get back" Jessa said furiously, went into the car and slammed the door. It feels like her habit, but no one dared talk to her about it.
Miss Ann smiled immediately as the car drove off the compound, she didn't have to open or close the gate as it was automatic.
ROYALS ACADEMY
8:59 am
Driving to the school on a traffic-free road was only 30-32 minutes, but Hazel had to walk so it took her the whole day to get to school. She arrived at the gate and sat by the pavement stone outside the gigantic school gate, she hadn't spent a minute before a luxurious car honk at the gate, the back wind screen went down slowly, and four eyes were on her, she stood up, and adjusted herself properly, first day at school and someone is seeing her in this kind of state. She wanted to act all good, but she heard them laughing their ass out..
" Can't believe they are bringing more less privilege students to the school, and to think this one can't even afford the school bus is WOW" Isabelle, one of the girls in the car laughed out loud
" I'm not surprised, it's a new season so more less privilege to be seen, I bet this is gonna be fun" the second girl in the car mirabelle said amidst laughter.
"Cheers to another long and fun season" Isabelle raised her Stanley cup to the air and laughed as the car went into the school premises.
" What the fuck are those girl's" hazel thought and bumped into someone in the process of walking into the school premises.
"Hey young girl, who are you with?" A guard asked
"I came alone"
"Are u on scholarship here, cause you look like one "
She was shocked and quiet for some seconds before replying, "yes I am". The guard examined her for a while before reluctantly letting her in.
The school is one of its kind, the walkway was giving luxury, the shield over the walkway, the flowers used to decorate the paths, the view of the car park are all giving. The school building itself is far from the car park and walkway, giving them enough space for parking of cars. The building is painted in white and a large art work of a beautiful girl and boy holding hands with a smile on their face while walking in an environment that looks like the school environment.
Hazel was lost staring at the art work, it looks new, so some students are still seen around having a glimpse of it, before walking back to class. There isn't much difference from her former school and this new one, it's just as spacious as the former.
"Oh nooo" hazel looked at her wrist watch,only to find out she's a minute late for her class, she ran in a haste, and mistakenly bumped into a masculine body, the second time in just a few hours. The pressure of the contact between the two bodies made Hazel fall to the ground with force.
" Hey look where your going" a voice at the back said, he thoroughly examined the girl on the ground " ohh, I see someone's new" he said with a slight chuckle
She hurriedly stood up, taking her stuff that fell too, without looking up she walked away.
" What the fuck! Did she just walk away without…..” Before the guy could complete his statement, the guy whom Hazel had had the body collision with walked out on him.
~CLASSROOM~
Hazel got to class two minutes before the assigned tutor. walked in.
Good day class,my name is miss viola, I will be your English tutor, do well to cooperate with me and you won't regret having me around." The English tutor addressed the students before the class began
CAFETERIA
The place is filled to the brim and as a loner that hazel is, she wants a place for herself alone. Looking around, she doesn't think that's gonna be possible.
"Look what we have here, the less privilege"....
Hazel was long lost staring at the cafeteria, but the voice came again behind her.
" Is she deaf or pretending to be??" the person said and pushed her lightly by the shoulder, this was when hazel came back to reality. She turned towards the person.
"Excuse you" she said, and then it struck her like lightning, it's the girls she met at the gate, in the luxurious car. " And how may I help you" she asked
" I was thinking you were deaf a while ago, didn't know you lost your sanity too" Isabelle said mockingly and Mirabelle laughed beside her, with her hands folded on her chest.
" You know, I have been looking for a helping hand before I resumed, I would have used Tara instead but she's a loser after all, and vwalah, you came just in time. You will be my school maid, carry I and mirabelles bag and come with us" Isabelle said with her hand stretched towards her and her bag dangling on her index finger.
Hazel laughed naughtily, and to confirm what she just heard she asked again, " u said what?"
" I said, I'm recruiting you to be my school maid, you know how many people are fighting to be in your position right now?"
" Go give them the position then"
"You're not the one to tell me how to run my life, okay, so take the damn bag and come with me, right now"her hand still stretched forward with her bag dangling from her finger. Hazel looked at them both and burst into a heavy laugh, every head in the cafeteria had to turn towards their direction..
🗣️: okay now this is gonna be lit.
🗣️: please tell me they are not about to beat another student to a pop
🗣️: another school season of horror, I pity the scholarship student...tsk
🗣️: Isabelle I love you
🗣️: please take me in for queen this summer
🗣️: oh no this new girl is gonna regret her day

The cafeteria became noisy in just the twinkle of an eye, " u know your being sarcastic right?, who the fuck do you take me for?" Hazel shouted back at Isa, and that made every one wowed. Phones were out at this point, everyone making a video of the moment, the school group buzzing with messages, people talking among themselves.
🗣️: Does she know who Isa is?

🗣️: how dare she shout back at my Isa
Everyone was throwing tantrums at Hazel, but who cares. Isabelle laughed In a 'how dare u" kinda way, and walked towards hazel, " seems like no one have lectured you about the dos and don'ts here, but I'mma teach you a lesson before that"
Hazel walked closer to Isa looking her in the eye, " tsk, you can't do anything, I tell you" she said and walked away.
Towards the hallway, students started throwing garbage at Hazel, she had to hasten her walk but bumped into someone AGAIN. " arggggg" she exclaimed in frustration. Students stopped throwing stuff at her, and that made her look up, only to find a guy looking down at her, almost immediately Isabelle appeared in front of the guy.
"Seems like your cunning, you knew he was passing by, that's why you had to display this drama of yours, so what?, so he could save you or what, haaa, joker"
" And what if it was all a drama, and so fucking what" a girl came in front of Isabelle, blocking hazel whose still on the ground. Isabelle smirked.
" I'm still trying to figure out where you had the courage to talk back at me, Tara"
" I had the courage all this while Isa, just didn't want to let it out at first"
" Get out of my way let me finish my unfinished business "
" And what if I don't?, what you gonna do about it?, bully me too?, of course you won't dare"
"Tara I'm warning you" Isabelle said with an angry tone. Instead of making way, she gave hazel a hand, helped her stand to her feet and left with her.
" What the.." Isabelle said in a shocked tone

🗣️: wow, the nerves.
Students were chatting about it, the school student group was already on fire, everyone having a take on the incident that just took place. Seems Isabelle is a big deal in school, cause everyone is now afraid for tara and hazel.
Isabelle turned around to come in contact with the guy who bumped into hazel.
" I'm gonna handle this, just trust…..”She didn't get to finish her statement before he walked out on her.
