Sultanate-e- Khaqan
Sultan of the Kingdom: Sultan Zafar Ahmad Shah, he was the most skillful and smart king of the Khaqan, who didn’t conquer only with his sword but with his brain too. He was cold and rude to the rest of the world, and his Baba Jaan orders and happiness were everything for him. His deep interests were chess and hunting.
Shahzadi Amara Ahmad Shah : The only daughter of Sultan Ahmad, she is known as a beauty with a brain because she is a princess with a beautiful face but a sharp-witted tongue and smart brain.
Shahzada/Sultan Ameen Ahmad Shah : He was godlen boy who could anyone of anything with his words before he could even lift his sword. He was the most spoiled and most loved royal kid, but a tragedy happened, and he was banished from the capital by his father. He is the Sultan of a small princely state of Aligarh in the mountains and was only premitted back to kingdom for major royal event.
Salar-E- Azam Shamsher Saifullah Mirza : The commander in chief of the kingdom who was undefeated in battle, his life purpose to protect his kingdom from any kind of harm. He is shamelessly arrogant, cold and has hilariously unhinged soft spot for two pets. In the daylight, his name echoned in fear and in darkness his name echoed in pleasure.
Naib-e-Salar/Mir-e-Khufiya Zarrar Ali: A spymaster and deputy commander-in-chief who reads people like open books and notices things that are unnoticed by regular eyes. He is a terrifying force on the battlefield and have legendary status of winning an entire war by himself after Shamsher was severely wounded. When he is not spying on anyone or on the battlefield, he is found in the library reading or taking care of his sick parents.
Mehreen: She is a maid who was raised in the palace by a maid who adopted her when she found her outside of a temple. Mehreen is Princess Amara’s best friend and most trusted handmaid. She is also the shahi cook of the palace because she is the only one Sultana Ahmed can trust to prep food for his kids and the important people of the kingdom. Zafer, Ameen, and Shamsher call her their own sister and protect her always and recently her afternoon are spend in town with the local midwife to learn midwifery and become royal midwife.
Begum Hameeda : She is the wife of commander in chief Saifullah, who passed away in the battle leaving her and shamsher behind. She is Ammi Jaan to not just Shamsher but also to Zafar, Amara, and Ameen. She raised all royal kids like her own when Sultana Fatima passed away. She is the one handling everything within the royal palace, from kitchen accounts to family politics played by Sultan Ahmad’s stepbrother and his family. When she is not handling anything and all of her kids are busy, she spends her time. knitting.
Sultan Ahmad Shah: He formerly gave his title to his elder son a few months ago, and now he spends his days advising his son, writing down his thoughts, and mapping out strategic master plans to make khaqan the most powerful empire in the kingdom. He loves his kids so much and deeply misses his late wife.
The uncle’s Family: Mirza Asif was the stepbrother of Sultan Ahmad, and his calculating wife Begum Shahida, who lifelong Aim to bring the throne to their elder son Daniyal and military titles to their twins Faris and Kamran. They also have two daughters who are palace spies for her mother, bringing her gossip, and Haniya, who is jealous of Amara’s beauty and Intelligence. Haniya’s only dream is to become a queen by getting married to a powerful sultan of another kingdom.

Sultan Jahangir: He is the fierce king who never saw a difference between his sons and daughters. Begum Farah: She is a beautiful and graceful woman who is more than a sister-in-law to Layla; she is her best friend, and Layla is her biggest emotional support system. She is also a mother to young kids, Shahzada Rayyan, who is 2 years old, and Shahzadi Anaya
Shahzada/Salar-e- Azam Haider: The commander-in-chief of the Royal Army, he is a wild, fun-loving, and fiercely protective brother. Instead of telling Layla to sit still and behave like a princess, he actively fuels her fiery spirit by bringing her rare, beautifully crafted weapons from his travels and secretly training her in deadly war tactics.
