Summary

I hated Abhimanyu Singh long before I ever understood what love was. That's the problem. People hear our story now and think it must've started with hidden feelings and stolen glances and all those soft little moments romance novels like to worship. It didn't. It started with report cards. With teachers comparing our marks in front of entire classrooms. With debate finals where one of us always walked away furious. With trophies that felt less like achievements and more like revenge. Abhimanyu was arrogant, irritating, impossible to ignore-and somehow always one step ahead of me. Then he left for Oxford. And I thought distance would finally erase him from my life. It didn't. Because six years later, when my family tried to decide my future for me, the first person I called at two in the morning was still him. My oldest rival. The boy I swore I couldn't stand. ᥫ᭡.ִֶָ𓂃 "Abhimanyu, Marry me.” "Is this another competition, Tiara?"

Maureen: I liked how the author described how the characters were feeling. How there decisions and actions were influenced. This story would be a great movie, though I'm not sure how a movie could portray the emotions and inner thoughts of he characters as well as this story has.
