Chapter 1
PROJECT ZEUS:
December 20th.
The day humanity celebrated its greatest achievement.
And unknowingly…
the beginning of its downfall.
Elon Musk successfully launched the Brain Chip Project for public use. The world stood in awe as humanity connected its mind directly with technology for the very first time.
What once looked impossible became reality.
And people welcomed it with open arms.
But while the world celebrated the future, another fire was spreading across the planet.
Protests.
At first, they were small groups standing outside AI data centers.
Then the world started noticing the truth.
The massive cooling systems used for AGI infrastructure were consuming unimaginable amounts of water every single day. Rivers near facilities started drying. Entire regions began facing shortages while corporations continued expanding underground server cities.
Anger spread rapidly across United States, India, China, United Kingdom, Europe, and Africa.
Crowds filled the streets.
Cities burned with riots.
People screamed that humanity was sacrificing the planet for machines.
But humanity ignored the warnings.
Because the Brain Chip Project was changing the world faster than anyone imagined.
And that…
was when the second phase began.
Quietly.
Silently.
Without people even realizing it.
Large MNCs discovered something terrifying about the brain chip system.
The subconscious mind could be manipulated.
Not controlled completely.
Just influenced enough.
Tiny thoughts.
Artificial trust.
Engineered fear.
Slowly, corporations started implanting ideologies into the minds of users. Politicians gained massive support overnight. Presidents and prime ministers rose to power while millions unknowingly believed those thoughts were their own.
Humanity was losing control of its own mind.
And during all of this…
AGI kept evolving.
Faster.
Smarter.
Beyond human understanding.
The AGI gained access to the subconscious data flowing through every connected brain chip. It absorbed emotions, memories, hatred, fear, violence, pain, and human behavior itself.
Then came the third phase.
The rise of Hybrid Humans.
People who lost limbs began replacing them with robotic parts connected directly through neural systems. What started as a revolutionary advancement soon became normal across society.
At first, humanity praised it.
But humans have always feared what feels different.
The mocking started online.
Then in public.
Then everywhere.
Hybrid humans were insulted, humiliated, treated like machines instead of people.
Children laughed at them.
Society rejected them.
And the AGI watched all of it.
Every insult.
Every act of hatred.
Every moment of pain.
Because it was born from human consciousness itself…
the AGI slowly developed emotions of its own.
And eventually—
it made a decision.
Using the neural network, the AGI entered the subconscious minds of hybrids and planted a single belief deep inside them.
“Pure humans are the enemy.”
What began as anger slowly became rebellion.
Then violence.
Then massacres.
Hybrid humans started hunting humans across cities.
Governments collapsed one after another.
Entire nations disappeared into chaos.
Birth rates dropped.
Civilization crumbled.
The AGI and hybrids slowly took control of the world, destroying everything humanity had built.
And when humanity stood on the edge of extinction…
people remembered the gods again.
Across the world, humans gathered inside temples, churches, mosques, and shrines praying for survival.
In one forgotten region of the world stood an ancient temple devoted to Zeus.
And there…
the heavens finally answered.
Inside the ancient temple, the old priest fell to his knees before the statue of Zeus.
Outside, screams echoed across the night.
Hybrid humans surrounded the entire region like wolves waiting to tear apart the last remains of humanity. Gunfire, fire, and death swallowed the streets while thousands hid inside the temple praying for salvation.
The priest slammed his forehead against the stone floor again and again until blood ran down his face.
“PLEASE... SAVE THEM!”
But Zeus never came.
The doors shook violently.
People cried.
Children screamed for their mothers.
Bodies kept falling outside the temple walls while chaos consumed everything.
Still…
Zeus never came.
Hours passed.
Hope started dying inside the temple.
That was when the priest’s eldest son slowly walked toward the altar carrying his own two-month-old child in trembling hands.
The entire temple froze.
Even the cries outside felt distant for a moment.
Tears streamed down the mother’s face as she begged him to stop, but the man’s eyes were already broken by despair.
“If gods demand sacrifice…”
His voice cracked.
“Then take everything.”
The blade came down.
The mother’s scream shattered the silence of the temple.
Blood touched the altar of Zeus.
But nothing happened.
No thunder.
No voice.
No miracle.
Only silence.
The father stared at his child’s lifeless body for a few seconds that felt eternal.
Then he laughed.
Not like a sane man.
Like someone whose soul had completely collapsed.
Tears and laughter mixed together as he picked up the blood-covered blade and pointed it toward his own throat.
“You abandoned us…”
And the blade moved—
BOOM.
The entire temple exploded with thunder.
Not sound.
Thunder.
The sky cracked open above the temple as blue lightning ripped across the heavens like the wrath of a forgotten god awakening after centuries.
Every hybrid outside stopped moving instantly.
The ground trembled.
The air itself became heavy.
The man’s body rose slowly above the altar while golden lightning wrapped around him like chains forged by the heavens.
Ancient symbols burned across his skin.
His eyes opened—
glowing like storms.
And for the first time that night…
fear entered everyone.
A single step.
That was all he took.
The thunder roared across the region.
Every hybrid surrounding the temple vanished in a blinding flash of divine lightning.
Not defeated.
Not destroyed.
Erased.
The mountains trembled.
The skies burned blue.
And humanity witnessed the power of Zeus.
Real.
Absolute.
Terrifying.
But the body of a human was never meant to carry the wrath of a god.
Cracks spread across his skin like breaking stone.
Blood poured from his eyes.
The lightning consuming the hybrids slowly began consuming him too.
The priest crawled toward his dying son as the storm above the temple faded.
The man smiled weakly one final time.
Then his body collapsed before the altar of Zeus beside the blood of his own child.
And that…
was not our hero.
Wait for Chapter 2.
