Summary

Following a year of isolating "Zoom University" classes, Megan finally arrives at Saint George University in the fall of 2022 to complete her Pharmaceutical Sciences degree in person. Accustomed to everything going like she planned to she maps out her life down to the minute: orchestrating schedules to avoid early mornings, trying on fifteen different outfit combinations just to look effortlessly classic in a white tee, and methodically dividing her peers into "inner and outer circles." PROLOGUE

She forgot her calculator. How could she? She was about to do the exam that would determine not only the next four years of her life, but also what she would be doing after those four years, practically her professional life depended on this and she forgot her calculator.

Megan was baffled the night prior she had made sure that she had everything she needed for the very important next day, but then again things didn’t go as planned. She almost did not make it to the building on time;a lot of things happened in between.

She did not wake up late, if that’s what you’re thinking, no she liked to be ahead of things —Most of the time— always having a plan, scheduling things if you told Megan that she had an appointment at the doctor or any other place, she already had planned what to wear, to which hour would need her alarm to be set,and how long it would take every action she took before heading out to whichever place she needed to be. Her problem had been the damn traffic.

But what did she expect when she was in a city that she didn’t know at all? It wasn’t her first time there — the first time was when she visited her sister— but she had only been to one small part of the city and didn’t go out, so it was her first time. She ended up sharing a cab with some lady, who by coincidence was heading to a place quite near to where Saint George University Campus was; it had helped her soothe her nerves a bit; she even gave her a protein bar and wished her luck. Megan realized as she stared at the white sheet full of 220 questions that she needed it —like, a lot.
