Preface
Preface.
When I tried to define the genre of this book, I found the most appropriate definition to be ‘Mystical Realism’. Nevertheless, I want to note at once, that this narration is not intended to frighten the reader in any way. It is just a little reasoning on the theme of human fears. In this book, you will find no names of locations, also there are no scenes of violence and profanity here. However, the book contains death, description of the “Urbach–Wiethe” disease, sleep paralysis, human phobias and anxieties, and quotes - from the famous poets, writers and philosophers.
One day, I came across a saying of an unknown person, which perfectly fits as a slogan for this book: “Fear
is just a shadow. And a shadow can’t hurt you, if you don’t let it to.”
