This time it would be different -it was just fate working its magic!
Sam Adams always recalled September 7, 1982, when he met his fate and ended his lonely life. Up until the date he met his dream girl, he had a series of bad romances.; Then he had the dream and vowed that this time would be different, for he knew he had met his karmic fate on that date.
For on this month, on that date, September 7th, 1982, he met and married the love of his life, his fairy‑tale dream princess. On that date, he celebrated it as the inaugural of his new life.
The first time he had the dream, he had fallen asleep in his class and saw the most beautiful woman in the universe, speaking to him in an Asian language.
He was mesmerized, her love mojo putting a spell on him, as he stared at her, with love blazing in her eyes.He yelled,
“Who are you?”
She merely smiled.
He told his best friends.
“I just met my wife in a dream. We are going to meet someday and get married. It is just my karmic fate.”
His friends laughed and said,
“Sure, dude, but lay off smoking that funny weed before class.”
For eight years, she haunted his dreams. But he knew that someday, somehow, he would meet her and that she would become his wife. It was just fate, and who was he to challenge the universe?
One day, he had to decide where to go in the Peace Corps after graduating from University. She came to him and said to him, “I am in Korea waiting for you.”
He called up the Peace Corps recruiter and told them,
“Okay, send me to Korea.”
Three months later, he arrived in Korea and spent the next few years looking for her. He thought he saw her a few times in the distance, but had given up on meeting her and was ready to go back to the States to go to graduate school, when he had the last dream. In the dream, she said,
“Don’t worry, we will meet soon.”
That evening, she walked off a bus in South Korea. He looked at her with excitement. It was her! The girl in the dream!
It was love at first sight, as sparks flew from heart to heart!
He spoke with her briefly, exchanged contact info. He hugged her, kissed her, and said they would meet soon.
The next night, she was waiting for him at his class outside the army base where he was teaching for the US Army. They went out for coffee after he dismissed his class early. She told him he was hers, and she was his.
A few days later, he had a surprise for her. After dinner, over coffee and chocolate cake,
He proposed to her, promising to be always her man, She hugged him, kissed his cheek,
And said,
“Yes.”
Six weeks later, on his 26th birthday, they were married. He kissed her that night in a bar.
