"Is mastered by this author. The atmosphere, the tension, the personal thoughts of doubt, fear and longing are extremely well captured. It’s such a treat. Sprinkled with roughly grained humor, the story is really unique. I love Saras sass, Katja’s longing and Nikolaj’s nerves of steel. Especially the later chapters are so well written...it leaves you yearning for more. You finally want to see the tension unravel, sweep you away, and leave you breathless. I’m looking forward to the continuation of Katja’s and Nikolaj’s love story❤️❤️❤️"

"I am absolutely in love with this author's writing and their ability to describe scenes in such a vivd way that I feel as if I am there with the characters. The writing is deep and profound and overall beautifully crafted. There were chapters where I found myself completely immersed and captivated by the writing. I'm enjoying the dynamic between Katja and Nikolaj. This book seems to have it all. From suspense to hints of a thriller to romance and deep thinking, it's great. "This story is spicy and stressful! There is an underlying mystery taking hold of the story that is very fun and chilling, while the anticipation of the romance is just insane! I was on the edge of my seat a lot while reading this, and may or may not have screamed at some of the characters' decisions!"

Spicy as Hell and I like it
"The Art of Bleeding Gold took me by surprise--in a good way. I normally don't read erotica, and so I have very little experience with the genre. But I definitely am no longer an erotica virgin and I don't hate it. Sprezzatura writes in first person present tense (my favorite point of view), allowing me to really live vicariously through the eyes of Katja. The scenes with Nikolaj are intense and sexy, and Sprezzatura writes the character in such a way that I started of hating him, but by the end of chapter 10 I ended up respecting him. Katja is a deep thinker, and climbing inside her head is all too relatable, and her friend Sara is hilarious. The chemistry between them makes their friendship leap off the page, and the characters are so human that I can imagine myself knowing both of them. I really enjoyed this book. It is everything you want in an erotica novel and more. Just make sure you have a cold shower ready. Or whatever other accessory you find useful. #IC10 #ICBC"

Promising and intriguing
"I'm only a few chapters in, but I'm already hooked. I love the balance between humor, mystery, and the slow-building tension. Katja is such an engaging protagonist, and the chemistry between her and Nikolai is already impossible to ignore, even through the smallest interactions. I also really enjoyed the friendship between Katja and Sara—it adds so much warmth and makes the story feel even more real. Every chapter builds the tension a little more, and I have a feeling it's all leading to something explosive. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the relationship between the main characters develops. I needed to add this to my review- from a story that initially seemed light and passionate, it gradually transformed into something mysterious and complex, where you no longer know what's real and what isn't. That constant uncertainty is what makes it so captivating and impossible to put down. #IC10 "

"I'm really enjoying the narrator's voice in this story. It's so refreshing to finally read a female lead who doesn't sound like generic FMC #65,689. Katja's voice is distinct, funny, unhinged, and genuinely unique, but not in a *not like other girls* way. She actually has a personality, which makes her incredibly fun to read. Well done, 10/10."
Intrigued from the opening chapter
"This story is effective in ramping up tension in multiple threads. I am already invested in the history between the two (presumably) main characters. The relationship between Katja and Sara is also likeable and realistic. I can appreciate the style of writing with the intentional use of disorientation and delay. There are some places the story could be tightened with respect to filler words (we all do this - I'm especially guilty of it!). Grammar and spelling are both satisfactory. The extended vocabulary can sometimes feel jarring in some stories, but works well here based on the analytical nature of Katja. I'm looking forward to continuing with this and finding out what the hell is happening. ☺️"

"I really like the dialogues between the two girls. Some jokes are so original and incredibly funny. I’m also enjoying the way Katja and Nikolaj met, and also their next encounters. Definitely spicy 🌶️ I’m eager to see what and how things will go next between them, but I’m sure it will still be funny and enticing. The story is very well written and it makes for a really good laugh, with spices on top ❤️ i love it!"

Her relationship with her friend Sara is sweet and realistic, reminding me of similar relationships I've experienced. A voice you don't forget
"This story pulls you in from the first page and doesn't let go. Katja is a very honestly written protagonists: sharp, self-aware, contradictory, and real (like a real person). The author doesn't try to make her likeable or perfect; she's anxious, rigid, funny, and deeply human, and that's exactly what makes her compelling. The tension built around Nikolai is handled with restraint for most of the story: glances, whispers, a hand on a chair back. Sara as a character is a genuine highlight; her dynamic with Katja carries warmth and comedy that balances the heavier emotional weight throughout. The writing style is vivid and atmospheric, particularly in the train chapter, which reads almost like a thriller. Nearly every chapter closes on a line or image that makes you need the next one immediately. Edit: I'm now on Chapter 20. The thriller has me completely hooked. I will extent this without spoilers when I finish the whole story"
Beautiful, Steamy & Unapologetically Sexy
"Sprezzatura writes beautifully, with an introspective and atmospheric prose style. Lines like "I feel as if I belong to no epoch, no time. As if everything I desire slips away from me, appearing only as a temptation, a silhouette" give the story a poetic, hauntingly gorgeous quality that reads like a painting, pure art. Plus, the MC Nikolai Sokolov is a massive, alpha specimen that oozes sex. #ICBC"
Fast and Furious! (in a good way)
"First thing that struck me was the pacing! We are moving, fast and efficiently! Not a single word is wasted! A lot of internal thoughts! It's like we live inside the brain of the MC (which is totally my style). Not that many "external thoughts" A.K.A, dialogue (which is not my style but, the way this is going, it makes sense). Seems like the story is grounded and realistic too, which yet again, I absolutely enjoy and appreciate! Look, magic and werewolves are cool and all but, sometimes you need something real. Overall, it felt like a very enjoyable and easily bingeable experience that I might come back to at some point! Good job! #ICBC "

"Some writers are minimalistic when they tell stories and it is an artistic style that I admire, even if I can't reproduce it myself. This chapter has all the correct elements for that style, light on exposition, hints of what supporting characters may bring to the story, and a problem, (or is it?) The air of mystery makes for a nice touch and the last line was my favorite in the chapter. Technically, there are a few minor issues that are readily fixed with a few moments of editing. #ICBC"
Exceptional Writing
"It is a wonderful read! I specifically like the writing style and literary skill of the author, beautiful. The way in which the author describes the scenes and characters is something that we don't see so much of these days. I love it. Also, the chemistry between Katja and Nikolaj is beautiful, I like that he wants something deeper with her and does not want to ruin it. The friendship between between the girls is also especially heart touching."
