Meeting

A little boy with blue hair, blue eyes and fair skin carefully climbed the mountain. He looked ahead and saw his goal - «Jacob’s Orchid». The rarest and most beautiful flower in the world that grows only in steep cliffs.

The boy slowly but surely climbed the mountain. He was confident in himself. But suddenly, in the next step, the ground went under his feet. He was terrified. I thought it was the end.

But someone or something didn’t give the boy a pass and the beginning drags him back. He regained his balance and turned around to thank his savior. A smile appeared on the boy’s face when he saw that his goat Samael saved him.

The boy with his goat continued to the flower. This time he walked even more carefully and looked more carefully under his feet.

Having reached the flower, the boy opened his bag and began to put flowers in it. But suddenly he heard Samael making aggressive sounds. The boy turned around and saw a long, white snake with empty eye sockets in front of him. The snake didn’t hiss. I just watched and slowly approached the boy.

The boy didn’t know why. But he felt that it was a snake trying to attract his attention. This snake didn’t want to hurt him. She studied it. The boy began to approach the snake carefully, and the snake crawled to him faster. When they got close enough, the boy began to stretch out his hand, and the snake’s head.

The boy touched the snake’s head and felt... cold. Strange and frightening cold inherent in a corpse. He quickly moved his hand away, as the snake opened her mouth and tried to bite.

Seeing this, Samael quickly ran to the snake. But it was too late. The snake’s fangs had almost touched the boy’s hand as someone’s long and thing hand grabbed the snake’s head without letting it bite the boy. And then he heard a beautiful male voice:

Wow. You are the first one who caught his attention.

The boy turned around and saw a tall, handsome and at the same time noble-looking man with fair skin. He had a soft half-smile on his face that didn’t leave his face. The man was wearing an expensive white suit.

The boy looked at him with gratitude and said looking at the man who let go of the snake that crawled away in an unknown direction:

Thank you. You saved my life.

But his goat didn’t trust the man and, biting the boy by his scarf, began to try to take the boy away from this man. The man squatted down and gently looked at the child and said;

Hello, little prince. What’s your name and what were you doing in such a dangerous place? Where are your parents? They don’t look after you.

The boy looked at the man and said:

My name is Aquas Morningstar. And I’m not small. I’ll be 7 tomorrow.

The man still with the same half-smile and soft voice:

Are you already 7? Sorry. You’re already a big prince.

Aquas with interest:

Why do you call me a prince?

The man without changing his soft and calm voice:

Is it? Don’t pay attention. These are the features of my manner of speech. I answered your question. Now maybe you can answer my remaining questions?

Aquas:

I’m here for these flowers for my mother.

The man cheerfully said:

Wow! I was impressed by you, brave prince. Risk yourself to please the main woman in the life of any man. But isn’t she worried about you?

Aquas lowered his head sadly and replied with embarrassment:

She’s at home now and cooking dinner. I lied to her that they were playing with their goat-Samael. But I think I did the wrong thing.

The man said, stroking Aquas’ head:

Doing a bad deed for a noble purpose is not wrong, prince. This is what we all have to do as we grow up. Even if sometimes what we do seems wrong to us or others. I’m sure Maria would understand you

Aquas is surprised and suspicious:

How do you know my mother’s name? I didn’t tell you her name.

The man was not confused and quickly took out a photo from his pocket and gave it to Aquas. Aquas looked and was shocked.

His mother was in the photo. And the man in front of him in the photo was his age and hugged his mother’s leg while she stroked his hair.

The man said:

Yes, I know. I was much more timid and shy then. Your mother and her sisters brought me up and raised me.

Aquas, returning the photo to the man, said:

Mom never said that she has sisters.

The man replied:

They quarreled 7 years ago and she ran away from them and burned all the bridges. But her sisters miss her and want to see her again.

Aquas said:

Will I tell her that you are here?

Man:

No. It won’t be very polite to her sisters if she meets me before her sisters.

Aquas:

Are her sisters coming to us?

A man with the same half-smile:

Not all. But I assure you that her closest sister will come to her. I assure you that you will love her. She adores children. She even has two beautiful sons herself.

Aquas is surprised:

Do I have cousins?

Man:

You don’t even know how much. But I think your mom has already been waiting for you and may start looking for you soon. Let me help you, brother, put the remaining flowers in your bag and we’ll go together, little prince.

Aquas is offended:

I said. I’m not small.

The man laughed cheerfully at Aquas’ reaction and just started picking flowers and giving them to Aquas. They packed everything up very quickly and set off.

In 40 minutes

When the house was visible on the horizon, the man stopped. Aquas was surprised and explained:

I told you the little prince. First her sisters and only then me.

Aquas asked with interest:

And when are my aunts coming?

Man:

Tomorrow. It will be their surprise on your birthday, little prince.

Aquas is happy:

Mom will be glad to see her sisters again.

The man without taking off his half-smile:

Of course, the little prince. But I’ll forgive you, I don’t tell her.

Aquas:

Why?

Man:

Then the surprise will be ruined.

Aquas is understanding. The man said:

And now send the little prince home. My mom has been waiting for you. And I know it’s early now. But happy birthday to you. I understand that it’s strange. But tomorrow there will be so much noise and fun here that your aunt and I won’t have time to congratulate you.

Aquas nodded and started walking. After a couple of minutes of running, he and his goat were in front of the door and looked back to say thank you to the man for his help with the flowers. But the man was nowhere to be found. Aquas thought:

And I didn’t even ask his name. But it doesn’t matter. I’ll simplify tomorrow. Interesting. And what will my aunts look like. Although we just need to wait. I’ll see them tomorrow anyway.

And then the boy opened the door and entered the house with his goat.
