Initial Recovery Report
Patient was located approximately 2.3 miles north of the abandoned Crystal Lake campgrounds following reports of unusual activity in the surrounding forest.
Upon discovery, patient was found sitting at the shoreline of Crystal Lake, facing the water. He appeared severely malnourished, dehydrated, and physically exhausted. Several days’ worth of exposure to the elements was suspected.
The area surrounding the patient contained over fifty trees marked with crude carvings of human eyes. Additional eye symbols were discovered etched into rocks, abandoned cabins, and wooden docks.
When approached by authorities, the patient repeatedly stated:
“He’s coming back.”
“Jason knows where to find me.”
“I just have to wait.”
Patient offered no resistance during transport.
Mental Status Examination
Appearance: Thin, underweight male. Multiple superficial cuts and scars present on hands and forearms. Fingernails heavily stained with dirt and tree sap.
Behavior: Cooperative but detached. Frequently glances toward corners of rooms and windows as if observing someone standing nearby.
Speech: Soft, coherent, deliberate.
Mood: Calm.
Affect: Restricted.
Thought Content: Persistent belief that he is legally married to Jason Voorhees. Claims they have been together for years despite the impossibility of such statements.
Patient insists Jason is alive and regularly visits him.
Repeatedly states:
“He doesn’t like hospitals.”
“He gets angry when people say he isn’t real.”
Hallucinations: Suspected visual and auditory hallucinations involving Jason Voorhees.
Patient frequently pauses during interviews as though listening to an unseen individual. On multiple occasions he smiled and nodded toward an empty chair.
Insight: Poor.
Judgment: Impaired.
Interview Excerpt
Dr. Harlow: “Who are the eyes for?”
Patient: “So he can see me.”
Dr. Harlow: “Who?”
Patient: “My husband.”
Dr. Harlow: “Jason?”
Patient: smiles “You say that like he’s imaginary.”
Dr. Harlow: “Did Jason hurt the counselors at the camp?”
Patient: “No.”
Dr. Harlow: “Then who did?”
Patient then refused further questioning.
Recreational Therapy Notes
Patient spends nearly all available free time drawing eyes.
Hundreds of sketches have been collected from his room. The drawings vary in size and detail but always depict a single unblinking eye.
When asked why he draws them, patient stated:
“Eyes stay open.”
“Eyes watch.”
“Eyes remember.”
Staff Observations
Nursing staff report patient speaking to empty spaces within his room during overnight hours.
Security footage reviewed from October 21 at 2:14 A.M. appears to show patient standing beside his bed carrying on a conversation with an unseen individual for approximately twenty-three minutes.
Patient can be heard laughing.
At several points, he appears to stop speaking and listen.
Audio equipment records a second voice responding.
Technical staff have been unable to explain the source.
Incident Report
October 24 - Patient became visibly distressed after learning several eye carvings near the lake had been removed by park services.
Patient repeatedly stated:
“He won’t be able to find me.”
Later that evening, seventeen new eye carvings were discovered throughout the hospital grounds.
Security cameras failed during the estimated period of creation.
Patient was documented as being asleep in his room.
Physician’s Assessment
Patient presents with severe delusional attachment centered around the figure known as Jason Voorhees, accompanied by probable visual and auditory hallucinations. The patient’s fixation appears deeply ingrained and resistant to treatment.
Continued observation recommended.
Patient remains convinced Jason Voorhees is actively searching for him.
No evidence exists supporting these claims.
