Chapter 1 - The Failure
"Famous advocate Maya failed her case" " Her client Charles hanged himself in the jail room"
Maya the name had echoed t through the medias for Past two years. The young intelligent advocate who solves the cases in minutes is now bamed for a man's death.
"Do you feel guilty for letting a young man die?" asked they.
The same people who cursed him to death past week.
Maya walked through the court ways while flashing upon her inaudible sounds kept irritating hr ears. Se tried hr best to ignore and Walk away but suddenly a man grabbed her hands, She flinched for a second and slapped hard on his face which captured a big attention and made her situation worse.
Later...
"Baby are you okay? I heard what happened what can you do ? Just blame the situation and move on " " hmm" She maintained her silence throughout the phone call. After it ended her friend asked" Can't you just talk nicely to your mom once" " why should I ?" "She is your mom" " she don't deserve to be " Saying that she closed the room door leaving her friend speechless.
That night the silence of her room was too loud that it kept her awake for the whole night. When she woke up the next day she was already a hot topic of the country.
" Advocate slapped the report"
Soon people started to frame her a bd person. Going out started feel like a suffocation to her.
After 2 days.....
It was a fine Monday, maybe not so fine for a particular person. Maya who spent her whole weekend in his bedroom had an unknown confidence in her eyes, maybe the confidence she forced it her eyes. As she walked through the court hallway her best friend Reeta followed her smudging a sandwich in her mouth "Hwey aw wo kwa, le hasd aat..." "Can you please speak in human language" Reeta forcefully swallowed the sandwich and started talking "I heard what happened I am really sorry that I wasn't here, I was trapped at the engagement that I couldn't quite follow the late news. It would have been too hard for you, are you okay?" "Yeah I'm fine... You know this internet people they will talk this for couple of days and move on . They don't care about the problems, all they care i "what is in trend"" " ha..ha.. that's kinda true" "Okay come on time is up we are getting late"
