Father Gianluca is an incredibly intriguing character, and the tension built inside the confessional is perfectly executed. The balance between faith, human nature, and psychological depth is brilliant. It’s a very smart, dark, and sophisticated start to a thriller. 5 stars all the way, I highly recommend it!"
Hold My Cross For A Second
"I mean what a thought provoking, heart provoking, jaw dropping piece of literary work. I just read something never before written. Now it's not a romance story in my opinion. It is an erotic story based in the true taboo nature of erotica. Giving you true themes of sexual sin and lust even more so profound because of the religious themes. My question however is will every male be a member of the lbgtq+ community? I suppose even if the answer is yes. It stays on theme because it is sinners who are drawn to priests the most and in the context of Christianity sexual sin, murder and hatred are among our major crimes as humans. Nevertheless, bravo! "

Intriguing
" The story is erotica that delves into the taboo of lust within the religious framework. Lu is a priest with a past who is being targeted by unknown parties. Some individuals are trying to frame him, others to save him. I interpreted it as a literary piece with a mystery/ thriller sub plot. As literary fiction, the story could be styled to evoke reactions from readers and lets them decide how they fell about the MC's decisions/ actions. I confess I would have loved some more emotional depth and internal dialogues and more context to the wide cast of characters. Also, getting invested in characters (or the MC) is hard when the internal monologue skirts the moral dilemmas they face or choices they make. But I do understand these could be stylistic choices. I read 9 chapters. Not sure why the review says 1 chapter read. Could be because I posted the review from a different device."
