An ending that earned every tear
"I finished this book a few minutes ago and I still can't fully process everything I felt while reading it. What started as an action story with a love triangle turned into one of the most addictive novels I've read in a long time. Chae-soon is a protagonist who truly evolves — from an ordinary girl to someone with real power, but never losing the humanity that makes her so easy to root for. And the dynamic between Hyunwoo and Min-jae is perfect — two completely different ways of loving the same person, and the author never makes either one feel like the "bad guy" of the story. The action scenes are incredibly well crafted — tense, cinematic, with that pacing that makes you read without being able to stop. And the intimate moments hit the perfect balance between sweetness and tension. The ending is exactly what this story deserved. The wedding, the bracelet breaking at the worst possible moment, and that time skip at the end that leaves your heart completely full. I closed the book smiling and tearing up at the same time. A story that has it all — action, drama, romance, and an ending that feels completely earned. Highly recommended."
