"This story has a lot of potential. It starts from the perspective of an ordinary person and gradually unfolds into a suspenseful murder mystery, which kept me interested. The plot is solid, and the mystery itself is well thought out. Personally, I felt the story could have had an even bigger impact if it had taken a little more time with its pacing. More space for character interactions and bonding would have made the emotional moments stronger, and stretching the suspense a bit longer could have made the mystery even more gripping. I think a slightly longer story, written in the same style but with room for these elements to breathe, would have elevated an already good plot into something even more memorable. That said, this is just my personal preference. Overall, it's an enjoyable read with a compelling premise, and I definitely think you have created something worth checking out."

What begins as a fairly grounded story gradually shifts into something much darker after Tom witnesses a murder. Just when you think you've worked out where it's heading, the story delivers a satisfying twist that recontextualises everything that came before. The story's greatest strength is its pacing. It's well written, easy to read, and short enough to finish in a single sitting. The transition from an ordinary slice of life into psychological horror feels natural, and the ending is memorable enough to leave you thinking about it afterwards. If I had one criticism, it's that I wanted more. Because the story moves so quickly, many of the emotional moments pass by before they have a chance to fully sink in. Spending more time with Tom and expanding on the investigation, his deteriorating mental state, and the atmosphere would have made the emotional payoff even stronger. It's a story with a solid premise and an effective twist that simply left me wishing it had lingered a little longer."
