A New Kind of Vampire Romance

"It's so rare to come across something 'original' these days, unless you're reading Jared's books. 'The Dominant Mind' is so much more than a vampire romance because it redefines both the idea of what a vampire is and what romance should look like. It's the type of book that's got me sitting here, trying to write a professional-sounding, put-together review because it simply deserves no less. And, while I might be biased in my admiration of Jared, I am not at all biased when I say that this book will have you going through the best type of emotional turmoil. I hated the main character, swore I'd never love him, warmed up to him, and then felt like crying when I realised that I wouldn't be getting any more of him. I'd hate to leave spoilers, but I will say that this is one of the best polyamorous romance novels I've read in a very long time. Each character is written with so much depth and thoughtfulness that I got to love each of them apart from their relationship. The bond they share is the type that had me staring up at my ceiling after reading each chapter, wondering if I wanted to be them, be with them or simply bask in their love. That being said, I also grew incredibly protective of them because Jared has a special talent for bringing the drama. Just read the damn book. And yes, spice guaranteed."
