Prologue Sythin
I walk down the long hall my heels clicking on the floor as my gowen flows behind me. My mask is on tight and formal. No ones ever been able to see through the cracks and they never will.
I am a temple. A fortress. And my heart? Well it’s as cold as a dead body. Because I was born to be a ruler. To be perfect. And I’ll be damned before I let them see me fail.
The people who made me. Into this… thing. I’ll make them regret me if it’s the last thing I do.
I will burn the world down before I let them win. Because this, this is my story and their just the people who made me the villian.
So I’ll smile and nod and go along with what they want until it’s my turn and then we’ll see whos sleeping outside in the dead of winter so that they’ll “learn how to not shiver”
