Chapter 1
The summer sun beamed down on my face as I layed on the sun towel. I sat up to watch my sister jump in the river from the rock by running river which seemed to go for miles.
"Watch me Brynn!" My sister called out as she cannon balled into the cold, flowing water.
She got up and gasped for air before doing it all over again. But this time she brought me with her. I got up and went with her to jump when I saw the rushing water. It made me nervous but if my little siser could do I supposed I could do it too. I think she heard me sigh because she told me,
"It will be okay. I belive in you."
I nodded. But no matter if I belived in myself because my heart would not stop beating from excitement and being as scared as when you go down the steepest roller coaster. I moved closer the the ledge and took a big breath and jumped in. It felt like forever before I hit the water but in reality, it was only a few seconds.
"Here I come!" My sister June jumped in after me and landed flat on my stomach when she landed.
All the air shot out if my lungs and I plunged into the deep, flowing water. I could not breathe and even if I tried all I would get is a big gulp of water and start choaking. I tried to swin back up but the current kept me down. Deeper and deeper I went until I hit a giant rock in the middle of the river. I got myself onto the rock and gasped for air the second my face reached above the water.
In the far distance I heard my sister calling for me. She probably thought I was playing with her. Hiding. But once she realized I was not able to get back to land very easlily she would not be laughing anymore. I tried to scream but it was to raspy for anyone to hear.
"Brynn come out! I know your hiding!"
I started to see unbelievable things. I felt like I was moving but I couldnt be moving because I was on a rock that was pretty well stablized- even though it felt like i was twisting and turning all different ways. I stated getting dizzy and it all went black
