The Unexpected Mate

"This is an edited Review. The first was made when the book was marked as completed but due to some technical issues not all chapters were there. Now, having read all the chapters I can say that this story delivered. It was well written, clear and entertaining to read. The antagonist wasn't much of a "world domination" kind of deal and honestly it fitted the whole theme. Sera was a wonder to read, her positive outlook on people, her simple want to belong was beautiful and it was nice to see how despite everything and her learning, she still remained herself, just a bit wiser. Honestly all characters were lovable and willing to move forward despite every reason to do so otherwise, well almost everyone was willing to move forward. Just River was a bit of a dilemma. She appeared for a couple of chapters and then just... Vanished. The whole thing about protecting and yet she was never mentioned again. A solution could be that she would appear in the background, like a shadow that helped/influenced with the rescues of Sera or something since she apparently could tell the future somewhat. Still recommended, it's a nice story and I liked how the many chapters served as ways to offer the different points of views from several people. It brought more to the story."
