Summary

Summary: _IQBAL - A MYSTERIOUS MAN_ follows Iqbal, a 32-year-old antique restorer in Old Delhi with no past, changing fingerprints, and a sealed locket he never opens. His life unravels when brides across India start vanishing after sketching his face without ever meeting him. As journalist Mira Sharma investigates with him, Iqbal is pulled from Kolkata to Lucknow to Mumbai and finally to Dhaka — where he learns he’s Subject I-01 of “Project Kaal”, a 1947 Partition-era memory experiment. He was the only stable host whose memories were split into the brides to save them from erasure. Chasing the truth means confronting Dr. Ayesha, the scientist who became “The Collector” to reconstruct him, and choosing between the memories that define him and the people he loves. In the end, Iqbal sacrifices his past to save Mira and raises a memory-child named Noor, proving he’d rather be a father than a weapon.

: “The Man Who Sold Silence” - INDIA VERSION*

Episode 1: “The Man Who Sold Silence” - INDIA VERSION*

*Runtime*: 24 min

*Cold Open*: 2:17 AM, _Kolkata_. A Bengali bride in red Benarasi runs barefoot through Kumartuli alleys. She’s mute. She pulls out a charcoal sketch: Iqbal’s face. She hasn’t met him. A shadow moves. She screams without sound. Cut to title: _IQBAL - a mysterious man_.

*Act 1*: Old Delhi, 6 AM. Iqbal restores a Mughal astrolabe in his Chandni Chowk shop. Delhi Police burst in. Inspector Verma: “You know a girl named Hawa?” Iqbal: “No.” Verma slaps down the sketch. “She drew this before vanishing from Kolkata. You were in Kolkata last week for an auction.” Iqbal: “I restore things. I don’t take them.”

Mira, _Mumbai crime journalist_, watches from outside. She’s tracking missing brides. 3 cities, 3 sketches, same man.

*Act 2*: Iqbal tracks Hawa to an abandoned jute mill on Kolkata’s outskirts. *Action beat*: Parkour chase through Howrah lanes. Iqbal uses a steel scale, not guns. He finds Hawa locked in a room of wedding photos. All the missing brides. Hawa hands him a new sketch: Mira’s funeral.

*Act 3*: Iqbal gets Hawa to safety. Mira: “Why do they draw you?” Iqbal: “Because I’m what happens next.” He spots Babu — his chaiwala informant from Delhi — watching from across the street, smiling.

*Horror beat*: That night in Delhi, Iqbal sleeps 2 hours. Dreams of a road. An accident. Hawa’s face. Wakes gasping.

*Romance beat*: Mira touches his scar. “What happened to you?” He pulls back. “You don’t want to know.”

*Tragedy Tag*: Iqbal burns the sketch. Monsoon thunder over Delhi. He grips his sealed locket. Whispers: “This is not the ending.” Cut to black.

*Stinger*: Masked man phones someone: “He found the girl. The Collector will be pleased. Prep the Dhaka file.”
