Prologue
Greensboro, North Carolina.
A 17-year-old girl was a Valedictorian student at the High School where she had been attending for the last four years. She was a teenager of Latin-American descent, her name, Marcia.
Marcia lived alone with her mother, Helen Garcia, for her Dad had passed away earlier in the year, after being involved in an automobile accident, where his vehicle suffered the impact of a large truck, driven by a person who was in too much of a hurry to respect a Red-Traffic light.
However, it was not until five weeks after the accident when the driver of the large vehicle, Ernest Jones, was dismissed from the Hospital that the Garcia family found out the reason why he was driving in such a hurry on that tragic day.
