"The characters are amazing. I disliked Julian at first the way he was so condescending, but he showed character for realising he was wrong. I loved how Maya stood up against her family and accepted her friend's son as her own. The love she has for him, blood makes you related loyalty makes you family. I was happy that they chose each other and fought for what they wanted. Glad that Scarlett stood up against their father and not allowing him to do the same thing he did to Margaret and their sisters. "
