So begins VampireNovel1's story which is the third book in a series about Kyle and Fatima's romantic relationship. Despite the author's interesting name, I promise you there are no vampires in the story, and none are necessary in the realistic, life-affirming and sometimes painful story. (The fear of rejection is very real.) If I could do it over again I would have began with Vampire's first book, but gratefully it's not necessary to read the beginning novel to come to love and care about the characters. Kyle is a good man. (I wish my boyfriend was more like him.) And I can't wait to see what happens after Fatima gives birth and how they handle having a brand new little one in their home. Good novel.
