Prologue
A werewolf with an olfactory dysfunction is a dead wolf. This was first catalogued when the discovery of werewolves came to the surface. Project Helix was first published by the elitist University by Professor Lechner Poletti in 1908. A professor bitten by the one they call ‘mate’, and it wasn’t until 1973, when the mate-bond was officially analysed in the Velveteen War College. A University used for experimental purposes, until it transitioned after the Blackwood War, established by Evander Blackwood, the Alpha of the Morality Pack.
Project Mate Bound was nothing more than the scribes of an old war by the year 2026. Evander Blackwood had many children since the war of liberation, as among the werewolves, it was a revolutionary stand against Humans. The Morality Pack grew in numbers and was allowed elective seats in Human governments, which included the Grandson of Evander Blackwood, Nectarian Blackwood. A werewolf I met at the college, exactly one year ago. We’ve been sworn enemies since.
Nectarian Blackwood stood against everything the human population strived for. Peace was no longer listed in any Dictionary on the planet, and functioning scientific discoveries were cornered off, disassembled and lost in the fires Nectarian’s Grandfather scorched in 1974. It disabled the clinical intake and analysis of werewolves altogether.
I made the mistake of meeting Nectarian Blackwood.
At the college claiming, I discovered that it wasn’t just werewolves they bonded with. It was humans, too.

The prologue has got me hooked! Also: that cover picture is absolutely beautiful 🖤
