Summary

Amelia Taylor thought she knew what love was. After a failed marriage, she has two beautiful daughters, a life she’s finally learning to enjoy, and absolutely no intention of falling for anyone again. Especially not Clark Young—the younger man who’s been part of Jett's life for years. Clark never expected to fall for Amelia. She’s older. She’s a mother. And she’s supposed to be off-limits. But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to deny the attraction between them. What starts as friendship quickly turns into something neither of them can walk away from, and Clark finds himself falling not only for Amelia, but for the two little girls who have stolen a piece of his heart. Yet Clark carries wounds of his own. Abandoned by his biological mother and haunted by years of feeling like he never truly belonged, he’s never believed he could have the family he’s always dreamed of. Until Amelia. With her, he begins to discover that family isn’t always about blood, and home isn’t always a place. Sometimes, home is the people who choose you. And Clark has finally found his. *AI was used to check grammatical errors only*

Foreword

This book can be read as a standalone; however, it is closely connected to my other novels, The Memory Between Us & The Walls Between Us.

Jett, Cordelia, Simon and Seth will appear throughout this story, and their journey plays an important role. If you’d like a deeper understanding of their characters, I recommend reading their books first.

With that said—enjoy! ;)

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
