A vividly painted intriguing start.

"The settings in these first two chapters are beautifully written. I can almost smell the cooking and feel the warm pink sunrise as Maya heads to the fields. The plot is strong from the very beginning and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds. Only small niggle is that the formatting could do with a tweak. There are very short paragraphs and sections which makes it feel a little staccato- easy fix though and didn't interfere with my enjoyment. Congratulations ❤️ "
