What is your opinion?

An engaging medical-sports romance with incredible potential for a deeper slow-burn sequel

"The Fourth Batter's Patient by Wren Sena Red has such a juicy premise. A doctor married to a surgeon at the same hospital, having a secret fling with a celebrity athlete? I was hooked from the start! The story moves fast, and the drama is super entertaining. I reckon the story would be even hotter if it took more time to tease out the emotions. Make it a sequel. Slowing it down into a real slow-burn romance would make the affair feel way more intense. Also, imagine if the husband was secretly doing the same thing with his own patients? Adding that kind of parallel drama would make the tension between the couple absolutely insane. Wren Sena Red did an awesome job setting up this high-stakes world. It’s a fun, quick read, and with just a bit more emotional depth and psychological suspense, it would be a top-tier erotic romance. Can't wait to see what this author writes next!"

Engaging Romance and Intense Tension!

"What I Loved:The physical and emotional tension between the main characters is fantastic. The author does an incredible job building up the chemistry from the moment the baseball player becomes her patient. The 11 pages of physical build-up and the intimate scenes were highly detailed, passionate, and beautifully written. The high-stakes environment of the hospital and the complicated dynamic of her being married to the Chief Doctor added a great layer of built-in drama that kept me hooked. Constructive Feedback & Suggestions: The story structure is solid, but I felt a bit confused by the nurse’s actions at the very end. For most of the book, I anticipated a major plot twist involving her. When she suddenly helped clear the schedule so the doctor and patient could be alone in the office, it caught me off guard. To help make the story even stronger, I think this area could use a bit more dialogue and development to tease out the nurse's true motives: -The Nurse's Intentions: It would be amazing to clarify why she helps them. Is she secretly having an affair with the husband (the Chief Doctor) and trying to distract the wife? Or is the celebrity baseball player playing both women? -Pacing the Subplot: Fleshing out these questions through a few extra lines of dialogue or subtle hints earlier in the story would elevate the mystery and make the ending feel incredibly rewarding. Final Thoughts to the Author: Writing a compelling romance with this much tension is incredibly hard work, and you did an amazing job keeping me glued to the pages! Fleshing out that nurse subplot a little more could turn this great story into an absolute psychological masterpiece. Thank you for sharing your words with us, and I cannot wait to see this story succeed and get the massive readership it deserves! I hope this feedback helps and happy writing. "
