Chapter 16

Ok so, fuck that mirror.
And fuck prom.
Because number one, that mirror is cursed. I don't know what voodoo or magic that old lady put on it, but it's damn well cursed.
Number two, Ellie, Azelia, Noah, and Sophie dragged me to the mall for me and Sophie's prom dresses.
Ellie and Azelia are being so fucking stingy because they want to make their own dresses, but won't make me one for free.
"Instead of making you one for free, which would make my hands hurt once more, we're going shopping and i'll buy you a dress."-Ellie stated.
Now ain't that some bullshit?
They want me to walk around a mall, searching for heels and a poem dress.
At least they're feet will be in pain.
Because I know damn well that Sophie, Ellie, and Azelia would probably be wearing heels or boots.
~~~
We arrived at a huge ass mall at eight a'clock in the morning.
Now I knew I was going to be here for a while.
As we were getting out of the car, Ellie was struggling to get her converse on.
"Curse these damn shoes", she muttered. At that moment, she fell to the ground. I tried not to laugh at her pain, but I failed miserably. She shot me a look from the ground. "Just for that, we're walking a entire loop around the mall", Ellie declared.
I shrugged my shoulders. "At least I can get my shoes on", I teased with a smile. Ellie playfully rolls her eyes with a smile and she gets up.
She puts her hands on her hips. "Ok, fuck those converse their opps today, I'm wearing my slippers, and if anyone gives me weird looks I'm flipping them off", she declares. She throws her converse back in the car.
"Girl boss", Noah says from on the other side of the car, where he's escorting Sophie out of the front seat.
"Damn it, the Suns so hot today.", Ellie whines as she decides to put her curly hair in a messy ponytail, not giving a shit.
Ellie wore a simple blue shirt with a denim skirt, tights, her slippers, and she carried Elian's oversized hoodie.
Azelia however, didn't give a shit.
She wore some oversized cargo pants and a green shirt, her hair was in a messy bun, she wore slippers too, and she carried a blanket.
She didn't care if she was in public, she and Ellie would always come prepared.
"Alright, I have extra hoodies for everyone, because the mall is cold.", Ellie reminded us. She threw Azelia's in the car and mine as well because I already had a simple patterned blue jacket on. I wore a choker, a blue top, and jeans.
"You give a dad vibe", Azelia says, while gesturing to me. "That's sad to hear", Sophie replies.
"Let's hurry up and get these dresses girly, my feet already hurt", Noah complains.
"Hey, you decided to tag along", Sophie reminded him. "I only came to protect my queen and those princes." "Don't call me a prince ever in your life before you become the one who needs protection", Ellie says firmly. "Ok zamn", Noah replies in shock.
"Let's get this shit over with", Azelia says.
We all walk into the mall, looking for clothing stores.
"Can I just get a simple dress?", I ask while we walked. Azelia shot me a look. "Bitch, we're getting what suits you". I looked at Ellie and Sophie, hoping that they dissagree with her. "Azelia's right", Ellie says.
I roll my eyes and I groan.
"Ok, here's one rule. No big ass fucking dresses with a lot of puff in the sleeves, and no pink dresses! Are we clear?", I order. "Clear", everyone says in unison.
Sophie spotted a boutique on the second floor. She points to it, "Look! We could probably find our dresses in there!", she announces.
"Sophie, there are sixteen clothing stores in this mall, we're going to be here for hours", Ellie says. Sophie shrugs her shoulders, "As long as we make it quick", she says with a smile.
So for two hours, we only visited eight clothing stores.
"Eight more to go?", Sophie says with a little energy, trying to boost the mode. Sophie already found her dress, it was a pink long dress with little bows and lots of layers of pink almost-transparent fabric.
Then my phone buzzed in my back pocket. I grabbed it and looked at Callum's name. I answered the phone. "Done shopping yet?", he asked. "Nope"
"Now I can see why girls take so long shopping", he says. Ellie barges in the conversation, "Callum shut the hell up, I can see why boys, besides Noah, have boring fashion taste and why you guys look like a grandpa. It's because boys quickly pick something up without actually taking the time to look at it", Ellie argues.
"Damn", Sophie, Azelia, and Noah all say in unison.
"Ellie, mind your business I'm talking to my girlfriend", Callum quickly replies. " She was my friend before she became your girlfriend, so I come first and remember that", Ellie snapped. "Ok, that's enough. I have to go finish looking through these boutiques, goodbye Callum", I quickly say, putting a stop to their arguement before it got heated, and I hanged up.
"Let's look at this one", I say while pointing to a random boutique. We walk into the boutique called Milivean Boutique and we went through the dresses.
"None of these seem like me", I say with a sigh. Azelia walked up to me, putting her hands on my shoulders, looking me dead in the eyes. "She needs a violet A-line dress with ruffles". Everyone starts moving around the boutique, looking for that specific dress.
Noah lifts up the dress in the air. "Found it! ", he yells. Azelia grabbed it from him and handed it to me. "Go put it on", she says.
I take the dress with me into the changing room. I put it on and the heels Ellie brought me. I looked in the long mirror behind me. "Damn", I whisper to myself. I took my ginger straight hair out of the ponytail it's been in.
Woah.
I kinda like this dress.
I stepped out of the changing room. They all surrounded me as if I were a celebrity, surrounded by Papparazi and fans.
"Damn, ok girly you lookin like a princess", Noah says with a little hand movement, gesturing towards me. "And with the hair out? Damn. Azelia you did your thing with picking that dress", Ellie says. "Thank you", Azelia says with a dramatic bow. "This is the perfect dress for her", Sophie says with an amazed look in her eyes.
After they were done adoring the dress and how I looked in it, I changed back into my clothes, Ellie bought the dress and purple heels, and we got ice cream and went home.
For once, I enjoyed shopping.
