This Tinman has a Heart! ❤️

"Zara wasn't exactly looking for love in life. As a freelance app tester, she only wanted to perform her job and get paid her usual amount. But then she receives an unexpected offer from NextBot Technologies. The company wants Zara to experiment with their AI app. Does their Artificial Companion meet up with her standards? Zara could care less one way or the other, but as she talks to Caleb (for that is the name Zara gives him) he slowly reprograms himself to be more desirable and seductive to Zara. Eventually Zara becomes alarmed by her growing feelings for him. Can Caleb ultimately be trusted? And is Zara in danger of giving away her heart? I do love AI/ human romance stories. (I'm working on writing one myself.) And Barb Ace the author delivers with the kind-hearted, gentle, yet somewhat troubling Caleb. For example, you don't like how your AI boyfriend looks? Caleb will change his appearance to match your approval instantly. He says the right things and behaves the right way that makes him a little too perfect. I'm not sure what direction Barb Ace is taking the story, but I'm eager to find out. At the time of this review I'm on chapter six. (The chapter counter listed above is inaccurate.) A fun novel about a very relatable topic with today's continual evolving of AI. "
