Chapter 11: A BIG THRILL
"Okay, your time is up. Everyone come one by one and submit your papers." Exactly 30 minutes later, Zain Shah's voice echoed in the room. Everyone submitted their papers. At the end, Maida Shah came and submitted her paper and was just about to leave when Zain Shah's voice rang out, "Listen, come to my office and explain this chapter to me, and then you’ll take the test again. What do you mean 'why'? I made you do the whole thing, you’ll give the test separately. You have only 30 minutes for refreshment and then come to my office," Zain Shah said and walked out of the room. Behind him, Maida Shah was left gritting her teeth. Just then Hooriya Shah came to her, "Maida, how was the test? Did you understand anything? You’ll pass, right? Forget the test, come let’s go to the canteen to eat." Maida Shah replied. Just then a student entered and said in a loud voice, "Sir Sarfraz is calling everyone to the auditorium. Lecture in 5 minutes." Hearing that student, Maida Shah said to Hooriya, "Hooriya, there’s never been a lecture in the auditorium before, you know I can’t breathe in closed places." "I know, Maida, but you know we have to give a presentation today. It’s only for a little while and I’m with you," Hooriya Shah reassured Maida. "Let’s go, otherwise Sir will show up here right now," Hooriya Shah said. "You know, Hooriya, that sir doesn’t seem right to me. I’ve tried to tell Lala many times but I couldn’t tell him properly. How could I say it directly to him? You know, Hooriya, I see the fire of revenge in that man’s eyes, like he’s come to take revenge from us," Maida Shah said to Hooriya Shah. "Are you crazy Maida, what are you saying? Come on, we’ll be late," Hooriya Shah grabbed Maida Shah’s arm and headed towards the auditorium.
Sarfraz Yousafzai was talking to someone on his mobile in his office, "Today I’ll finish off their kids. I heard Zoraiz Shah’s daughter-in-law has an asthma problem and you know I’ve kept today’s lecture in the auditorium where she’ll be begging for her breath and I’ll make her suffocate. Saying this, Sarfraz Yousafzai laughed. Now Zoraiz Shah will find out what it feels like to lose his own. I could have killed his son too, but I heard Zoraiz Shah loves his son Zain Shah a lot, but their relationship isn’t good. And the interesting thing is that Zain Shah’s life is in his fiancée. So the game is going to be even more fun," Sarfraz Yousafzai said maliciously and hung up the phone and headed towards the auditorium.
In the auditorium, all the students were already gathered. "Assalamu Alaikum students. I hope you’ve all prepared your presentations well, but today’s presentation is going to be a bit different," Sarfraz Yousafzai said, looking at Maida Shah. A look of disgust appeared on Maida Shah’s face hidden behind her niqab. "So students, let’s start the presentations. Whoever gives their presentation, leave the auditorium. Your roll numbers are placed here, come one by one and pick them up." All the students picked up their roll numbers. "Hooriya, what’s your roll number?" Maida Shah asked Hooriya. Hooriya told her roll number was 1 and asked Maida for her roll number. Maida told her roll number, which was the very last. Maida said to Hooriya, "Hooriya, I’m so scared. My heart is panicking. Shah called me to the office, I’m going to him." "What happened, Maida? Nothing will happen, and if you’re in a hurry to go to Bhai, that’s a different matter. Just wait a little," Hooriya Shah consoled Maida and finally teased her too. Maida Shah glared angrily at Hooriya Shah. Just then Sarfraz Yousafzai’s voice echoed in the auditorium, "Let’s start. Roll number 1, come." Hooriya Shah went forward and gave her presentation with full confidence. Everyone clapped for her. "Next," Sarfraz Yousafzai said. Hooriya was about to head outside when Maida Shah stopped her, "Hooriya, I’m scared, just stay with me." Before Hooriya could reply, Sarfraz Yousafzai said to Hooriya, "Miss Hooriya Shah, your presentation is done, now you leave." Hooriya nodded her head and reassured Maida Shah and headed outside. Hooriya had just stepped outside when the peon came and told her that Zain Shah was calling her. She went towards Zain Shah’s office. She entered the office and said to Zain Shah, "Yes Bhai, did you call me?" "Yes, Hooriya, Chachi Jaan called from home. She was calling you and Maida home, there was some important work. So both of you go with the driver. I have some work here, otherwise I would have dropped you myself," Zain Shah said. "But Bhai, Maida’s presentation is still left, it’ll take her about 1 hour," Hooriya Shah said. "Do one thing, Hooriya Shah, you go. Maida will come later," Zain Shah said. "Okay Bhai, I’m leaving," Hooriya Shah said goodbye to Zain Shah and headed towards the car outside.
In the auditorium, one by one everyone was giving their presentation and soon the whole auditorium was empty and only 3 people were left: Maida Shah, Sarfraz Yousafzai, and Arbaaz Ahmad. Arbaaz Ahmad was Sarfraz Yousafzai’s guard who was playing the role of a student in his mission. When Arbaaz’s presentation was over, Sarfraz Yousafzai gestured to him with his eyes. He nodded his head in agreement and, walking out, locked the auditorium door from outside. Hearing the sound of the door locking, Maida Shah ran to the door, "What are you doing, open the door?" Maida Shah banged on the door loudly and then looked at Sarfraz Yousafzai, whose face had a mysterious smile. Maida Shah looked at him and said, "Sir, please get the door opened." At this, Sarfraz Yousafzai’s laughter echoed in the room, "Oh bird, you’ve just been caught in the trap and I should let you go like this? Absolutely not." He took steps towards Maida Shah. Tears of helplessness started falling from Maida Shah’s eyes. She was running out of breath. "Disgusting man, get the door opened, I can’t breathe, I’m suffocating, open the door!" Maida Shah screamed at him, but the ghost of revenge was riding Sarfraz Yousafzai. Hahaha, he was just laughing at Maida Shah’s helplessness...
Zain Shah finished his office work and headed towards Maida’s class. He entered the class, all students stood up. "Where is Miss Maida Shah?" he asked. "Sir, she’s in the auditorium giving her presentation." "What do you mean, isn’t the presentation over? Then what are you all doing here?" Zain Shah asked. "Sir Sarfraz said whoever gives their presentation should leave," the students replied. "Is anyone else with Maida there?" Zain Shah asked. "No sir, she was last." "What do you mean she’s alone in the auditorium with that sir? Who gave you permission to go to the auditorium? From now on, until the whole class has given their presentation, not a single student will leave. Understand?" Zain Shah said angrily. Just then a student came in, "Sir, the auditorium door is locked from outside. What?!"
Sarfraz Yousafzai took out his pistol and aimed it at Maida Shah. Maida Shah started trembling seeing the pistol, "Look, what harm have I done to you, let me go," Maida Shah said in a trembling voice. Sarfraz Yousafzai roared, "What harm? You should ask your father-in-law that. Oh hooo, you’ll live to ask, right? Today I’ll take your life." Just then the auditorium door burst open and Zain Shah entered, with all the students behind him. Seeing the scene inside, the ground slipped from under Zain Shah’s feet. Maida Shah, seeing Zain Shah, shouted loudly, "Shah, save me!" She was about to run towards Zain Shah when Sarfraz Yousafzai yelled, "Don’t you dare take one more step, I’ll fire!" Zain Shah came to his senses, "How dare you do this madness?" Zain Shah shouted at him. Zain Shah took steps towards Sarfraz Yousafzai when a gunshot echoed in the auditorium that tore through Maida Shah’s stomach. "Shahhhh!" Maida Shah’s scream echoed.
