Part 1
The luxury hotel suite door clicked open, and I marched straight inside. I slammed a tiny bottle of premium strawberry milk onto the marble counter.
“Finally,” I muttered, twisting the cap off. “Ji-ah said her room key was under the mat.”
I took a massive gulp, swinging my legs on the barstool. A low, heavy clearing of a throat behind me made the milk go down the wrong pipe.
“Cough—cough—what the hell?!” I wheezed, spinning around.
Standing in the bedroom doorway was a towering wall of absolute corporate power. He wore a tailored black suit jacket over a crisp white dress shirt. His sharp jawline was set like stone, and his dark eyes radiated pure authority.
Kang Min-hyuk. The heartless multi-billionaire CEO of Kang Global. And he was staring at me like a radioactive bug.
“Who authorized a walking highlighter to enter my suite?” Min-hyuk growled low.
“Excuse me, big guy? Who are you calling a highlighter?” I shot back, crossing my arms. “You’re the one trespassing like a corporate psycho!”
