Chapter 1

Written by Matthew Sinn A.K.A. Sinbad the Mountain

My name is Camila Garcia and I am a 10 year old Mexican girl living within Mexico City, Mexico. Who always dream of being a champion duelist, like some of the champion duelists I've scene on television. Such as Alexander King, Rosy Willow, Garfield Cage and David Johnson. Which I knew wouldn't be easy. But I truly felt like I could get there. For I just needed to prove it. As it was after school.

That I was making my way home. Which was only a twelve minute walk away from here. With my father being a creator of Dual Monster Cards, which made big money and my mother being a school teacher. Who was still walking within my yellow colour dress while also carrying my light blue colour purse. When my eyes quickly spotted trouble up ahead. For it was the school bully Diego.

Who wasn't just known for causing trouble at school, but was also a good duelist in which nobody has been able to defeat. Who was standing alongside his three male friends. As he stood within my way while smiling and speaking. Hello Camila. My buddies and I been hearing. That you've got yourself a deck. Which nobody has scene you use. Facing him with an annoyed expression on my face I replied. That's right. A can only assume you'r wanting to challenge me to a dual. To see me lose and cry.

Still smiling here Diego reply. That's right, now follow us. Before you go and make us mad. Seeing no choice within the matter I followed them down to this Electrical Repair Shop only seven minutes past my home. Where one of Diego's friend loaned me a Dual Disk. Which I placed onto my left arm as he placed his own on his right arm. With us both standing about thirteen steps away from each other. Who then began our dual with Diego going first while speaking. First I summon my Level 4 Ghostly Tiger. Which was pretty much the ghost of a tiger.

Which made it a Zombie/Earth type monster. With ATK/1600 and DEF/1200 Points. Who then spoke. Next I play my spell card Spirit Circle. Which allows me to add two Zombie type monsters from my deck to my hand. Which he quickly did and then spoke. Then I'll activate Ghostly Turtles ability. For if it's added to my hand by a card effect. Then I'm allowed to summon it directly from my hand and onto the field. In face up defence mode. Who did this as his level 4 zombie type monster had DEF/2,000 Points. Before playing a face down. Which I can only assume was a trap card.

Who then ended his turn as I now took my turn. With me speaking. While working out the only plan I've got. Since I sadly had no monsters within my hand. I play three face downs and that ends my turn. Which made Diego let out this happy laughter before speaking. Oh....this must be my lucky day. To be facing a foe with no monsters on her field. As he now took his turn and drew a single card before speaking. Alright, Ghostly Tiger. Attack her Life Points directly. Which it quickly did and did a good amount of damage to me. Before Diego ended his turn with his friends cheering him on. As it was now my turn as drew my card and spoke.

I summon Aztec Warrior. Which was a level 4 Warrior/Earth type monster. Which made ATK/1600 and DEF/1300 Points. With me then speaking. Then I activate my face down trap card, Warriors Wrath. For when my Life Points take damage. I'm able to increase one of my monsters attack points by 400. Which Diego knew was bad as he quickly countered while speaking. I activate my own trap card. Soul Slash. For when an opponent activates their trap card. While I have a Ghostly monster on the field. I'm able to destroy it. Which he sadly did as I stood here and sadly spoke. I end my turn. With that said Diego drew his next card before looking at it and speaking.

I play my field spell Ghostly Jungle. Which increases the attack points of every Zombie and Beast type monster on the field by 200 points. A then I'll have my Ghostly Tiger attack Aztec Warrior. Seeing this I acted fast while speaking. I activate my 2nd trap card. Rock Spear. Which allows me to decrease the attack points of an attacking monster by 400 points. Which surprised him as his tiger was quickly destroyed. While also dealing a little damage to his Life points as well. Who was glad but also knew I was a long ways from winning this dual. As Diego ended his turn.

With me now drawing my next card before speaking. I play my Equip Spell Card, Poison Tip. Which increases my warriors attack point by 400 points. A that ends my turn. With Diego now drawing his next card while looking mad and speaking. I tribute my Ghostly Turtle and summon my Ghostly Gorilla. Which was really bad, since it was a level 5 Zombie/Dark type monster with ATK/2,000 and DEF/1700 Points. Which were quickly increased. Making it the strongest monster on the field. Who then spoke. A now I use its special ability. For when Ghostly Gorilla is the only monster on my side of the field. It's allowed to attack the turn it's summoned.

I knew this was really bad as he quickly destroyed my Aztec Warrior. Leaving me with no monsters at all. As it was now my turn with me drawing my card and quickly got myself an idea. Which was kind of risky, but also didn't see a choice here either. As I spoke. First I summon Aztec Jaguar. Which was a level 4 Beast/Earth type monster, with ATK/1600 and DEF/1100 Points. With its attacks points raised and now sitting at ATK/1800 Points. With me then speaking. A now I use my last trap card, Aztec Skull Whistle. Which not only allows me to bring back my recently destroyed monster.
