Chapter 1
Chapter 2: The Truth Behind the Cheese Moon
The lights in the laboratory went out completely.
Darkness filled the room as Detective Yaqub stood still, listening carefully. Somewhere in the silence, machines were still humming faintly.
Then, a voice broke the silence.
“We didn’t mean for it to happen…”
Yaqub turned sharply. Two figures stepped forward from the shadows—Sarah and Asmaa.
They looked nervous, guilty, and scared.
Sarah spoke first, her voice shaking.
“We were trying an experiment… to change matter. Just something small.”
Asmaa quickly added, “But the machine reacted in a way we didn’t expect.”
Yaqub narrowed his eyes. “What kind of experiment changes the moon into cheese?”
As the emergency lights flickered on, they revealed a strange machine pointing directly upward. Wires connected it to a glowing core that still pulsed with energy.
Sarah stepped closer to the device.
“It was supposed to test energy transformation… but it connected to something outside Earth.”
Asmaa whispered, “It touched the moon…”
Suddenly, the machine activated again on its own.
A beam of light shot through the roof and into the sky.
On a nearby monitor, images of the moon appeared—cracked, unstable, and slowly returning to its normal form… but still leaking pieces of cheese.
Yaqub realized something serious.
“This isn’t just a mistake… it’s still active.”
Outside, the sky began to change. The glowing cheese pieces stopped falling for a moment, then slowly started disappearing into the air.
Sarah looked at Yaqub.
“Can you fix it?”
Yaqub didn’t answer immediately. He stared at the machine
Then he said,
“I will try… but we need to shut it down before it becomes worse.”
