Trauma and acceptance
"The only qualm I have with this story is how short it is! Besides that, if you want a story to cry to, this is the book for you. It delves you into the life of a girl who's family life was ripped apart by the bad decisions of the parents, who turned and made it their problem. However, it also percieves a journey of harnessing your struggles and trauma and building them to strengthen your character as a person and build your resolve, breaking out of that generational trauma. "
Great story!
"I really like this story and I love the concept and storyline. It has a compelling plot that makes you want to just hug the main protagonist and the ending twisting it back on the reading is a super emotional, thought-provoking way to end. However, I fell at times it tends to the telling rather than the showing side of writing. For instance you often tell us what the protagonist fells and is experiencing but instead you could show us why she feels that way by describing the scene, etc. Either way really great story! "
