Summary

He was hired to protect the Clover heiress. His job should be simple and easy: keep Megan Clover alive. Easy or simple is not the word he'd use for Megan, though. Surviving her and her arrogant attitude? More like it. If only she wasn't so disgustingly difficult and let him do his job. Months after Megan Clover, the daughter of a powerful CEO of Clover Corporate, is kidnapped, her father refuses to take another chance. Until the kidnapper is found, Adrian is assigned to protect her around the clock. Megan couldn't hate the idea more. Living under the family's name has always meant cameras in her face and eyes following her wherever she goes. Now she has a bodyguard watching her every move, reminding her that she isn't free... Someone out there still wants her. For money? For power or simply revenge? Only Megan seems to know. The last thing she expected was to trust the man she can't seem to get rid of. The last thing Adrian expected was to fall in love with the woman he swore to protect. But Adrian's job and career aren't the only thing on line when he falls... He risks losing her too...
