What is your opinion?

Great storytelling, a few suggestions to make it better

"I surprisingly enjoyed this historical romance with a happy ending, as I'm not a great romance reader. Not many writers can author a shirt narrative packed with suspense at every moment. I recommend the author oscillate between short segments of narrative and longer ones to let the storytelling flow more dynamically. Good job!"

"Sweet, short story. The author has a wonderful ability to convey a scene with very few words, making excellent use of vocabulary. I would have liked a little more expansion on whose footprints were outside the window. Who was watching them? I was expecting a twist. Lovely ending. I could literally see it in my mind! "

"I happened upon this young man, a self-professed 'teen' writer thinking, oh goody. Dungeons and Dragons galore. NOT! I found instead, a lovely, soft 'fairy tale' of old Disney quality filled with all the characters one would expect. Instead, however...of the handsome Prince, we have...a lowly Highwaymen (he doesn't like the term...thief, so we're going with Highwayman) Our beautiful Princess, Ismene is running away from a bad situation but...she is no Disney Princess but a determined, frightened young woman who chooses freedom to a molded, gilded life with our resident evil Count. Wrong again... A bad guy in the vein of Alan Rickman...with a heart. Most touching change of character? Not the Count. The strict, no-nonsense dad who also...is not what he seems. In the process we meet 'criminal' chickens who also choose freedom from barnyard captivity...a traitorous horse and many humorous exchanges that had me chuckling out loud throughout the tale. This story reminded me. There are very talented young writers out in the Cosmos who...we older, more seasoned Vets better be on the lookout for. We have competition! I often take my nephews/nieces to movies I don't really want to sit through. But occasionally I find a gem of a movie that delights and entertains. In this story, I found another gem. A gentle love story sprinkled with humanity and unexpected humor. I more than highly recommend this short but oh, so fulfilling read! I was enchanted."
