Fantasy Romance with Complicated Politic
"This is a killer setup for a fantasy romance. The whole Rain and Thunder theme is genius because it fits the classic grumpy-meets-sunshine vibe perfectly. The writing itself is beautiful and holds your attention right away, making you care about what happens to Rain. But honesty, the plot feels a bit too crowded right now. You are throwing a lot of heavy political lore at the reader all at once. The punctuation needs a good cleanup too, since a few sentences drag on. To fix the pacing, you need to cut down the long explanations and just let these two talk. Giving them some sharp, tense dialogue will make their chemistry explode. Hearing them clash face to face is exactly what will make the final romance feel totally earned. "
