Taming of the Shrew!
"Meet Eleanor Voss, the merciless CEO of a billion-dollar company. Eleanor is feared by her employees, admired by her peers, and utterly relentless in her pursuit of perfection. Enter Charles Bennett. Warm, handsome with hazel eyes, he is not intimidated by Eleanor or her executive secretary. He orders a whiskey at the bar, despite Eleanor's clear disproval and later when Charles arrives at her office building demanding a job, Eleanor wonders to why can't she simply dismiss him. What has he done to her rigid self-control ...and possibly her heart. In this modern-day re-telling of The Taming of the Shrew, the author who goes by Prime, reimagines the classic battle of wills through Eleanor and Charles. We can't help but root for Charles as Eleanor the chilly, ice-queen learns to let go of her need for dominance and to allow love to enter her heart. It's a fun and enjoyable read, perfect when you're in the mood for romance mixed with a little vengeance. P.S. I'm on Chapter Four. The chapter counter as usual is wrong."
