What is your opinion?

One of The Best Novels (Want You, Hate you)

"5 stars because it delivers exactly what it promises: a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance that feels earned. The chemistry between Owen and Mason isn't built on instant attraction or endless misunderstandings it develops through believable interactions, tension, vulnerability, and character growth. Their personalities clash in ways that create both conflict and humor, making every step toward trust feel satisfying. I especially liked that both main characters have their own lives, insecurities, and motivations instead of existing only for the romance. The college setting, roommate dynamic, and gradual emotional progression kept me invested, while the mature themes added depth rather than existing just for shock value. I'd recommend this novel to readers who enjoy LGBTQ+ romance, college settings, slow-burn relationships, roommates-to-lovers, enemies-to-lovers, and stories with emotional character development. If you like tension, witty banter, and romances where the payoff comes after a lot of buildup, this is likely to be your kind of book."
