A Mystery That Keeps Getting Better
"Really enjoying this story so far. The mystery pulled me in right from the first chapter, and I love how each chapter slowly adds something new without giving everything away. Vayne is definitely my favorite so far, especially watching him try to make sense of everything. Natsuo is also great, and the interactions between them are fun to read. The story has a really interesting atmosphere, and after five chapters I’m definitely curious to see where it goes next."
Hooked from chapter one — Vayne's dry logic + a mystery this good is a great combo
"Binged all 5 chapters in one go and I'm already hooked. Vayne is such a fun MC to read — his whole "let me analyze this insane magic watch like it's a work problem" energy had me laughing out loud more than once, especially that line where he calls the watch a "requirement" instead of just admitting he's curious lol. Loved that chapter 4 switched POV to the detectives, it made the world feel so much bigger and Natsuo casually being way more capable than he lets on is such a good reveal. The mystery is unfolding at a nice pace too, not rushed but not dragging either (well ch3 was a little slow but the payoff made up for it). Really want to know what Kayne's been trying to tell them this whole time, and I'm dying to find out who the girl with the watch-related powers actually is. This story has such a good hook, can't wait for more chapters!"
