I chose a genre I don't usually go for, and read with horrified admiration for your complex and heart rending story of the consequences of physical and sexual bullying. Both Asher and Bastian's parents needed to have been euthanised after giving birth, before they could damage their children. I am pleased with the warnings about the content, I wouldn't like to stumble on some of the scenes, but you treated them in a commonsense way and with compassion. A good ending: I appreciated the way you dealt with the child and the comeuppance for the rapist and the sad-sack girlfriend. Thank you for sharing your excellent story with us."
