"This book blends romance, suspense, and dark humor in a way that kept me hooked from the very first chapter. What really stands out is the humor. The witty banter and sharp dialogue has me laughing throughout, even in tense moments. The chemistry between the main characters feels natural, and their shared history added so much depth to their relationship. The character development is excellent, making it easy to become emotionally invested in everyone. I don't usually like mafia/mob stories, but this was one of those rare books that I simply couldn't put down. Every chapter leaves me wanting just one more. If you enjoy romance with memorable characters, clever dialogue, and plenty of heart and humor, I highly recommend this one."

"Aubergine and Nicola have chemistry like no other fictional couple, I’m telling you! Corinthe has created a fantastic dark mafia romance, but totally somehow made it relatable, with the hilariously fun banter between the leads, and the “friend zone” trials and tribulations we sometimes go through. This is dark at times so the mafia clean up is no joke, but this one is so much fun to read. It’s currently ongoing so I’m always looking for updates because this story has me on the edge of my seat. If you’re into dark mafia romance, spicy spice, and hilarious banter this is your story! 🖤👏🏻🖤👏🏻"
