Summary

La cuenta regresiva “Un año, me voy” funciona como eje central: una promesa de escape cuyo destino nunca se revela. No hay redención fácil ni cierre feliz. La novela culmina en una disolución surreal y ambigua, donde Ariel se deja caer por la ventana y es recibido por sus figuras imaginarias (el Diablo, la Afrodita y el ángel), revelando que quizá nada de eso existió del todo. Todo fue un sueño dentro de otro sueño, una larga caída hacia la nada.

sto no es una historia. Es un año que se pudre despacio desde adentro.

Yo, Ariel, o lo que queda de él, escribo esto antes de que todo empiece. O después de que todo haya terminado. Ya no sé. El tiempo aquí se dobla como un tango mal tocado, y las notas se repiten hasta que duelen.

Vivo solo aunque no siempre lo estuve. Tengo diecisiete años y un cuerpo que no termina de ser mío: ni flaco del todo, ni lleno, ni hombre del todo, ni nada. Me afeito el pecho y las piernas cada mañana sabiendo que el pelo va a volver, terco como la tristeza. Me duelen las manos y las articulaciones sin motivo aparente. Saco fotos de una cara que a veces odio y las borro después. Tomo vino hasta que el mundo se ablanda, pero no fumo. Nunca fumo. Las cosas que me ofrecen me resbalan como el agua sucia de la lluvia porteña.

Un año. Me voy.
