Painfully beautiful
"I loved it. I love it. So much. With seemingly simple storytelling, it says so much, so deeply and so raw. The way it is written, looking at their lives as a third person, without feeling as if there is a distance. On the contrary, reading felt as if I was there, almost apologetically uninvited, in the most private scenes. I cried several times during reading it, feeling heartbroken. I noticed toward the end I was rushing because I wanted to know and simultaneously afraid to keep reading, afraid for the ending. As if I could make it not true by not reading it. The way the characters come off the pages, I feel like wanting to hold them, protect them. Simply beautiful. "
