The New Kid

It was the first day of their second year. Everyone was still recovering from the war. Aizawa was late to class as usual.

“Katsuki, look.”

Bakugou was laying his head on his desk. He looks up and sees his boyfriend, Eijiro Kirishima, holding up an oragami swan. Bakugou raises an eyebrow.

“Its a swan!! Isnt it so cute??” Kirishima is so so happy about his swan.

Bakugou smirks and says, “Tch, anyone could do that.”

“I know, but it’s so cute!! Do you want it?”

“I don’t want that ugly ass swa-“

“Take the damn swan, katsuki.”

Bakugou rolled his eyes and took the paper swan. Kirishima smiled and kissed his cheek. Bakugou went back to laying his head on the table.

10 minutes later, aizawa arrives.

“Hello, problem children.”

“Hi Mr. Aizawa!!”

Aizawa gives a curt nod. “Apologies for being late. I had to show around a new student.”

Everyone starts murmering.

“New student?”

“We’re allowed to have new students-“

“I hope they’re nice-“

“Ughhhh”

Bakugou lifts his head. Kirishima was at the desk beside him. Bakugou looks over at kirishima. Kirishima is talking to Mina. Bakugou sighs and lays his head back down.

“Calm down, brats,” aizawa scolds. He opens the class door.

The person who walks in is obviously attractive. He’s fairly tall, has black messy hair, silver blue eyes, sharp jawline. He was really good looking.

Bakugou looks up. He immediately doesn’t like this guy. Kirishima, however, seems to love him. That infuriates Bakugou.

“This is Akira Tsukishima. Hes joining this class because of his quirk’s power. Tsukishima, tell the class about your quirk,” aizawa tells everyone. He stands against the wall, adjusting his metal leg.

“Hi everyone!! My quirk is called Pressure. I can compress air into my palms and release it as whatever I want! Bullets, punch boosts, mini explosions-“ he gives Bakugou a smug look “-short-range flight, wind shields, and lots of other things!!” Tsukishima announced.

“Alright, any questions for Tsukishima?” Aizawa asks, bored already.

Lots of hands go up.

“Can you create a, like, bed to sleep on?”

“I can create one, but it won’t last all night. I have to be focused for it to stay.”

“Is it like Bakugou’s quirk? Nitroglycerin or something on your hands at all times?”

“No. I just have air, so it doesn’t feel like anything.”

A lot of questions were asked and answered. Bakugou did not like Tsukishima.

“Go sit beside kirishima,” Aizawa tells Tsukishima.

Throughout class, Kirishima helps Tsukishima. Bakugou can’t write his notes because his arm still won’t work from the war, so Kirishima always takes his and Bakugou’s notes.

“Why do you have two notebooks?” Tsukishima whispers.

Kirishima glances at Bakugou for permission to tell. Bakugou was nodding off-he hasn’t slept good in months. Bakugou slightly nodded.

Kirishima turns to Tsukishima. “Katsuki’s arm still doesn’t work thanks to the war and he’s a note taker, so I’m writing his notes for him.”

“Katsuki? Why do you not call him Bakugou? He lets you call him Katsuki?” Tsukishima seems mad.

“I call him Katsuki because he’s my boyfriend. Don’t call him that,” Kirishima mumbles, writing down something in Bakugou’s notes.

Tsukishima glances at Bakugou. Bakugou is asleep.

Aizawa gives the class free time for the last hour of class. Kirishima grabs Bakugou’s bag and puts the notebook in there. He gently wakes Bakugou up and tells him it’s free time. Bakugou nodded and sat up. The Bakusquad came over.

“Hi, guys!! Its the first day of school and Aizawa already has us taking notes?!” Mina exclaims.

“I know, it’s horrible,” Sero complains, sitting in Kirishima’s chair. Kirishima sits on Bakugou’s desk.

“Hey, Tsukishima. You wanna hang out with us?” Kirishima asks.

“Yeah, sure! What do yall usually do?” Tsukishima replies.

“We just get on our phones and talk about random stuff- hey, is Bakugou good?” Mina says.

Bakugou was staring at Kirishima’s leg. “He’s good. He just didn’t sleep much. Ugh, I’m a bad boyfriend. C’mere, babe.” Kirishima pats Bakugou’s cheek. He guides Bakugou’s head to his own lap. Bakugou falls asleep immediately.

“I’m confused. Isn’t he the psycho that got chained up at the sports festival last year?” Tsukishima asks, staring at Bakugou.

“Don’t call him a psycho. He got calmer after the war, so yeah,” Kirishima mumbles. He’s running his hands through Bakugou’s hair.

Everyone was now at lunch. Tsukishima was talking to Uraraka. Kirishima and Bakugou were at a table with the Bakusquad.

“Earth to Bakugou!!! Why’re you staring at the new kid?” Denki asks. He’s eating fries.

Bakugou scoffs. “I hate that extra.”

Kirishima stares at him. “Why do you hate him?”

“I don’t know, he’s just giving me bad vibes,” Bakugou mumbled.

“You only don’t like him because he’s flirting with your boyfriend,” Jirou teased.

“I’ll blast your face off,” Bakugou threatened.

Kirishima patted Bakugou’s arm. Bakugou scoffed and sat back.

I need to prove it.
