Is a canonically proven that Ryuk was never human.... But what if he was?...
It's January 12th, Tokyo, Japan, 1989, Ryuk Nagi, walking in the cold rain, holding a Death Note, smirking, knowing the true power of the Death Note.
In 1988, Ryuk Nagi, a broke high school kid, trying to find love.
Ryuk had good grades, but evenhe thought he needed more in life.
One day, he was walking down the street, when he was stopped by the sight of two bullies, stripping a girl, harassing her, but he knew if he interfered, it would get worse, so he walked off, haunted and disgusted by the crime in the streets of Tokyo.
Gelus Goriko, Ryuk's school buddy, would always check on him.
One night, while Ryuk was writing in his diary, he sent a text -- 'Hey, yo! How ya doing? I'm just checking in'
Ryuk never got tired of it, Gelus always struggled with mental health from his parents death, so he always tried his best to protect people.
And then there was Rem Shin, she was usually silent, but she was definitely open about her feelings.
As Ryuk was walking back home from school, he finds something, something strange...
It was a notebook, titled Death Note...
But he assumed it belong to someone, but nobody claimed they owned it. So he took it home, it was empty, questioning why it's called the Death Note.
He searched up what the note was. It was associated with multiple occuring murders of heart attacks, manifesting the term 'Kira' belonging to phyco paths, murders, serial killers, and self proclamed gods...
Terrified of what he saw, he also had a slight tick in his brain that thought it was fake.
So he searched up 'living serial killers', and wrote it down.
Keemon Orian. Died in the next forty seconds of a heart attack, live on TV.
Ryuk saw the news, shocked of what it could do, he also linked the death note to being something that could end evil...
Then, he saw a silhouette in his room, outlining a terrifying creature, creeping along Ryuk.
Ryuk jumps, terrified, nearly about to piss his pants...
But the strange bow-legged ghoul wants nothing more than a bag of.... Apples?
Yes. Apples. The Strange creature grabbed am apple from the table, but Ryuk is still terrified as hell.
He said his name was Ganashi, coming from a strange underworld revolving around the Death Note, and Ryuk now realizing what monster the Death Note could make, an apple loving monster...
Ganashi explained the rules of the Note, giving him a clear view of the Death Note's power, but all he could do is smile, ready to end all evil...
But he doesn't know that he isn't the only one with a death note.
A few days later, Ryuk had made his move.
Serial killers, dead, terrorists, dead, everybody who either has committed a crime, or is commiting one, dead on live tv...
Ryuk was adapted to his book, already calling himself a god, and all he could do is laugh about it... But he was on for one rude awakening...
At the TPD (Tokyo Police department) the cops were already suspicious on why so many criminals were dying from heart attacks, but then, they remember.

And so much more, meaning there is another holder out there.
So detective Loki set out to find evidence of who could be the holder, though it was usually impossible, Loki wanted to end it...
Ryuk looked at the news, and he saw Loki trying to find him, desired to kill him.
But he knows he can't possibly find him that easy, so he steps back from doing so.
And all Ganashi could do was eat apples and make fun of Ryuk for having a diary.
And then at Gelus's pov, all he could do is laugh at the detective, clutching a death note, writing his name down, killing him in the next 40 seconds.
And Ryuk is shocked, not knowing how he died if he never wrote his name down, and that's when he finds out the truth, he is not the only 'Kira'.
Gelus and Rem, walking peacefully, suddenly, a drunk driver swings into Rem's way, but Gelus pushes Rem out of the way, killing Gelus, Rem, terrified. Then she sees it, a death note flew out of Gelus's jacket, curious, she opened it, seeing the sight of multiple names of inmates and criminals that died not too long ago.
She knew the power of the death note, and she knew what it did to people back then, so she was shocked to see Gelus with one.
The cops arrived to check up on Gelus, but Rem was still there, holding the death note, so she knew she was in trouble.
The next day, Ryuk never heard from neither of them after that night, but after he looked at the news, he was petrified.
'Rem, dead, killed. She was holding a death note which had names of dead inmates in them, she was then executed after being seen with the body of dead Gelus's
Ryuk stepped back, not knowing what to believe.
Ganashi couldn't believe his eyes.
Rem and Gelus, both dead...
The police did further investigation in the notebook and found out that it didn't have the name of the other criminals that died of a heart attack, so they new there were another holder of the death note, and they were gonna find them.
Ryuk was walking outside at night, Ganashi yapping about random ass political opinions.
A police drive by, Ganashi still mocking Ryuk for having a diary.
But he finds out he is walking near the death of Gelus, then the cops recognize Ryuk, he was on Gelus's friends, so a cop stops to investigate him, but Ryuk punches him, and runs away while writing his name in the death note, then he dies.
But he was on camera, so his chances of getting caught were higher, and detectives already plot on finding him.
Detectives scanned his facial features, he was 17 year old Ryuk Nagi, goes to Roki High, he was at the scene where the cop died.
Next morning, Roki High was swarmed with cops, destined to find Ryuk.
They found him, cuffed him, searched his bag, and there it was, the death note.
Ryuk kept holding back, not wanting to get arrested, only a month of having the death note, and all Ganashi could do was make fun of Ryuk for getting caught sl fast.
He was tooken to be executed, but he ran, but he was cornered, cops raising there weapons, giving him one last chance...
"STAND DOWN, RYUK"
"Only a month into having a death note and you already get caught, huh? Pathetic"
The police officers move closer, Ryuk dropping the death note
"You're gonna kill me now?..."
"SAY YOUR LAST WORDS"
Ryuk smiles
"I AM KIRA!"
Ryuk yells, being shot down...
Dropping the death note in the grass of a school ground, nowhere to be found after.
YEARS LATER
Ryuk was transported into the underworld as a Shikigami, and a boy named Light Yagami who recently moved into his house...
