Capítulo 1


Hola, amigo lector. Me llamo Goliat y hoy es mi primer día como guerrero.

He entrenado mucho con los maestros Oracles y Mileno. Ellos han sido las personas encargadas de prepararme para la gran guerra que he de enfrentar en unos días. Sinceramente, te confieso que tengo mucho miedo. Nunca he peleado en una batalla real. Simplemente me entrenaron con teorías y ejercicios para desarrollar la memoria muscular; dicen que eso me ayudará a levantar el escudo a tiempo y a empuñar correctamente la espada.

Los libros me dieron el conocimiento teórico sobre el combate: los puntos débiles del enemigo, los diferentes tipos de cuerpos y las tácticas con las cuales me podré defender. Estoy muy nervioso. Practiqué mucho simulando múltiples casos, pero mañana será el gran día.

Sabes, amigo lector, me siento emocionado por el misterio de la vida y la aventura, pero al mismo tiempo estoy aterrado de no hacer bien las cosas.

Confío en los dioses en que todo estará bien...
