Fantastic story, could not put down!
"Loved this book. From the first chapter - Magic, wolves, Gothic horror, strong female characters, ancient evils - what is not to like? So many books have a great beginning, and then stretch endlessly to fill pages, or dissolve into a lack of direction. Not here. I do think the final confrontation is convoluted, the author’s vision of the curse is difficult to follow, but aside from that, the writing is intense. The pace is relentless, the suspense is unrelenting. Not your standard werewolf fare, and so much the better for it. My only mistake was beginning this book late in the day, and ended up staying up half the night to finish it. Strongly recommended. "
