Chapter 1
🌸 Episode 1: Her World, His Glimpse
"Every story begins somewhere... Ours begins with a girl who never believed she needed anyone." ✨
---
📍Bengaluru | 7:00 AM
Tring... Tring... Tring...
A hand lazily slipped out from under a soft blanket, searching the bedside table without even opening its owner's eyes.
Tap.
Silence.
Five peaceful seconds passed.
Tring... Tring... Tring...
The alarm rang again.
"Ugh... why do mornings even exist?" a sleepy voice groaned as she buried her face deeper into the pillow.
Just then...
📱 Mom ❤️ Calling...
Without opening her eyes, she answered.
"Good morning, Amma..." she mumbled.
"Good morning? It's already seven! Didn't you tell me you have an early meeting today?"
Siya's sleepy eyes snapped open.
"...What?"
She slowly turned her head toward the digital clock.
7:12 AM.
For a second...
Silence.
Then—
"WHAT?!" 😱
She jumped out of bed so quickly that she almost tripped over her slippers.
"Oh my God! Why didn't you call me earlier?"
Her mother laughed from the other side.
"Because my daughter wanted to become an independent woman."
"Independent doesn't mean I magically wake up on time!" 😂
"Go get ready first. Call me in the evening."
"Okay, Amma. Love you!" ❤️
"Love you too. And eat breakfast!"
The call ended.
Siya let out a dramatic sigh.
"Every single day..." she muttered before rushing toward the bathroom.
---
Twenty minutes later...
The same girl who looked like a sleepy panda now stood in front of the mirror, dressed neatly for work.
She tied her hair into a ponytail, picked up her watch, and smiled at her reflection.
"Looking good, Siya."
She winked at herself.
Confidence wasn't something she pretended to have.
It was something she had built over the years.
Living alone in a city far away from home wasn't easy.
There were days she missed her family.
Days she wished someone else would cook dinner.
Days she simply wanted to hear familiar voices.
But every challenge had made her stronger.
She had learned that home wasn't always a place.
Sometimes...
Home was the life you created for yourself.
---
The aroma of freshly brewed coffee soon filled the apartment. ☕
Siya took the first sip and smiled.
"Now this is the actual reason I wake up."
She packed her lunch, watered the tiny plants on her balcony 🌿 and looked at the city waking up below.
Cars filled the roads.
People hurried toward bus stops.
The city never slowed down.
Neither did she.
Picking up her bag, she looked around the apartment one last time.
"Keys?"
She checked.
"Phone?"
Checked.
"Laptop?"
Checked.
She reached the door...
Paused.
"...Lunch?"
Still sitting on the kitchen counter.
"Oh wow..."
She walked back laughing at herself.
"One day, Siya... one day you'll become responsible."
With that, she finally locked the door and stepped into another busy day.
Little did she know...
Today was just another ordinary day.
Or so she thought. 🌸

🏢 Meanwhile...
While one side of the city rushed to catch buses and morning meetings...
The other side moved to the rhythm of power.
A sleek black Mercedes rolled through the gates of Mehra Group of Industries.
The security guards immediately stood straighter.
"Good morning, sir."
The employees waiting near the entrance instinctively stepped aside.
"He is here..."
The car door opened.
A pair of polished black shoes touched the ground first.
Followed by a tall figure dressed in a perfectly tailored charcoal-grey suit.
Without a single word, his presence alone silenced the lobby.
Arjun Mehra.
Twenty-eight.
CEO of Mehra Group.
Young enough to surprise people.
Experienced enough to earn their respect.
He acknowledged everyone with a slight nod before walking inside.
No arrogance.
No unnecessary attitude.
Just quiet confidence.
As he entered the elevator, his assistant hurried in behind him.
"Good morning, sir. The board meeting has been moved to ten. Mr. Khanna is waiting in your cabin, and the Singapore clients have requested a video call at eleven."
Arjun calmly adjusted the cuff of his watch.
"Reschedule the client call to twelve. I don't like making people wait, but I won't rush a board meeting either."
"Yes, sir."
The elevator doors opened onto the executive floor.
Employees greeted him with nervous smiles.
"Good morning, sir."
"Morning."
His voice was calm, yet it carried authority.
Inside his cabin, floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooked the entire city.
The same city where millions chased dreams every single day.
Arjun placed his laptop on the table and looked out of the window for a brief moment.
His phone buzzed.
Mom ❤️
A small smile appeared on his face—one that his employees rarely got to see.
"Good morning, Mom."
"Have you had breakfast?"
He sighed softly.
"I knew that would be your first question."
"And I know you skipped it."
"...I'll eat."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
She paused before speaking again.
"You've become so busy that even this house misses you, Arjun."
For the first time that morning...
His smile faded.
"I'll come home this weekend."
"Don't just come for us... come for yourself too."
The call ended.
Arjun stood there for a few seconds, staring at the city beyond the glass.
To the world...
He had everything.
Success.
Respect.
Power.
But some silences couldn't be filled by achievements alone.
Without another thought, he picked up the file lying on his desk and walked toward the boardroom.
Outside, everyone saw a fearless CEO.
Inside...
There was a man carrying responsibilities that no one else could see.
